I have to agree with the vast majority of reviewers here about the excellent service we received from Radon Removal Systems. Prior to the installation, Greg, the owner, came by and gave us a thorough explanation of how the system works and what would be involved in our installation if we chose to move forward. He patiently addressed all our concerns with thoughtful, cogent responses. He also did a wonderful job keeping the drama low. After the levels in our basement tested above the recommended 4 picocuries, we became very concerned, as we had been living in our house for quite a number of years. He was very reassuring about our particular situation (unlike some of the other companies who immediately tried to instill fear and panic). Within 48 hours of installation our levels dropped to nearly 0. We are more than happy with the work Radon Removal Systems did for us.

Radon Removal Systems of Westbrook installed a radon mitigation system that did not work (radon tested same high level as before mitigation). I ended up hiring another radon mitigation company out of Freeport to assess the issue, and they identified the problem right away - the sub floor of the basement was all clay, so a traditional radon system was never going to work. Ended up paying $4,000 for an ERV system to resolve the issue, and now have normal radon levels. I would not use Radon Removal Systems again, and would reccomend to anyone who has used this company to do post-mitigation testing to make sure their radon mitigation system is working as it should.

I had my Radon system installed on 11/8/22. The installers were very friendly and professional. They installed my system in under two hours and my basement was clean when they left. I have a electronic radon monitor and since I purchased my home this past August, my radon hit a high of 10 and my long term radon level had been 7.7 for a few weeks. After installing our radon system my radon level has been consistently at 1.4 and it seems to be holding at that level. I recommend anyone living in areas of Maine with high radon levels to not take your health for granted. Ive read that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, with smoking cigarettes being #1. Because of the extreme cold months us Mainers spend most of our time inside, it only makes sense to maintain a healthy air quality for your family. I would also like to mention Radon Removal Systems office personnel. I am not sure I've ever experienced such professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. I am also confident, that if I did have any issues this company will back their warranty.Thank you,Robert ClarkScarborough Maine

My initial contact with them was very pleasant. Due to their workload, we had scheduled an installation of the system a month in advance. No issues with the month wait period. We certainly recognize they are busy and appreciate that.However, the day before the install, they called twice and emailed once to confirm. Once I had availability to call them back prior to the close of business, they informed me that they had already cancelled my appointment and didn't have availability to do the installation for another 3 weeks. For over a month now, I had an appointment scheduled, made appropriate adjustments to my personal and professional schedule, just to have them cancel on us the day before. All of that said, they were very courteous and professional over the phone, though they were telling me they can't serve us.To Radon Removal Services - my recommendation is that you adjust your confirmation procedure/policy. Granted, scheduling an appointment is in fact the confirmation, but you've probably had several clients forget about the appointment. I would suggest calling for confirmation a couple days prior to the install, not just the day before. In my case, I was unable to be responsive today. Due to your policy, I will be seeking the services of another company.

Showed up when scheduled. Estimate process was straightforward. Installation went exactly as described. System seems to be working a few weeks after installing.

Greg was incredibly helpful in determining a solution to our radon problem. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of our questions. They clearly put customer satisfaction first.

They replaced our radon air system's aging fan. Installation took about 15 min. Installation service and customer service were excellent.

This team of professionals are amazing. I set up an appointment with them and they called me the day before to confirm. Upon speaking with them, they discovered that I didn't understand the system. It was explained to me and once I was educated, they said that they didn't want to come to my home and take my money for no reason. The told me where and how to buy a radon test and said to call them back if there were any issues. Very HONEST professionals. I recommend them highly!

They were super fast, polite and fair in cost. My only complaint was they left my garage door open when finished even though I asked them to close it. And I don't think they actually checked the internal flow gauge after completing the installation to verify that it was working probably

Be very careful with these guys... They quoted a price over the phone but when they arrived the price was not honored. The installer started complaining how the office just books the appointment because they get paid to book the appointment no matter what leave the installer and customer hanging...Extremely poor customer service

We would highly recommend this company. They installed our system almost 4 years ago, when we purchased the house. As part of the initial install, they replaced 2 existing sub pumps. Just recently, one of the sub pumps was was operating incorrectly. We called Greg and he immediately came to inspect the pump. He not only ordered a new one, but took the time to adjust the existing pump to help it not malfunction until the new one came in. If it were to shut-off, the basement would flood. Within days, they replaced the old one and adjusted the level so that it would operate more efficiently. The last thing we needed was being in ‘house arrest’ with a flooded basement!! Thank you Greg!!

I’m a do it yourself-er, but figured this would be a good thing to have a pro do for resale value down the road. Their work was clean, affordable and effective at reducing the levels below 1.0. Very happy with this company. I even validated their post mitigation test with one of my own to make sure everyone was staying honest. Exact same results. A+

I looked around and researched a lot for the best radon mitigation system and was not disappointed with Greg and his crew. Very professional, honest, and reasonably priced. Look no further that Radon Removal Systems if you want the best.
