“Needed a small lock when my daughter lost the keys for her diary. Walked in five minutes before closing, was directed to the padlocks and rung out with time to spare. The clerk even cut off the old lock free of charge. The prices will never compare to the Big Boxes, of course, but it's great to have a reliable local option in town. A seven year old girl is grateful.”

“We went to see selections of bath and shower hardware for our bathroom. We needed a custom size shower and wanted something better than Home Cheapo or Lowe's. This was a very nice two floor display of different fixtures from the basic to the sublime. We were able to order what we needed and our plumber picked it up two weeks later. Don't go if you're looking for cheap. It's been over a year and the shower continues to satisfy our needs. Service was excellent.”
“Had two kind, very professional, and good humored men deliver my appliances up in Berlin NH this morning. I was filled with anxiety due to the tight area my dryer was going into and the fact that the workers werent from my local shop, they just laughed and eased any of my concern in all areas. They got the appliances in place, hooked up, and running for me. They called me to let me know when they'd be here, was on time, and made it a breeze. These men drove up in a snow storm, made it on time, and made a huge impression. All in all? Incredible service, installation, and people.”
“Great location. I use the store mode in the app to find the products I need. It tells me the exact aisle and bay where the product is located, and the exact number of units in stock at the store!!! It is really really helpful. Very clean and organized with lots of nice and helpful employees. everything is put away and organized, no boxes or pallets in places they shouldn't be. I enjoy shopping here, and at all the Home DepotsWhen I called the store to ask about a product question, a really nice man picked up within seconds and went out of their way to check a UPC for me and answer some specific questions. They definitely did not have to give me the time of day the way they did, but it was so helpful and they were so nice to answer my questions. This store goes above and beyond!!! ?I made a return here of an unused & unopened squeegee in original packaging that I bought for a garage cleaning project that I was not able to complete in time (winter hit and the hose & water in hose would have frozen). The return went very smoothly and pleasantly. Cashier was Glenn. Super nice and helpful guy. I highly reccomend Home Depot, and this location especially. :)”

“For Christmas I restored an antique family heirloom piece of furniture for a family member. The restoration required new drawer pulls and door knobs, and, not being knowledgable about furniture styles, etc, I didn't want to order from the internet or buy from a big box store.I visited Decorum and was absolutely amazed at how invested Kimry, the woman who was working that day, became in my project. She helped me look through boxes and boxes of old inventory, all the while making suggestions and providing information regarding what would be "fitting" based on the age of the piece. The key piece of information is that she knew from the beginning that my purchase would not be a significantly large sale.She returned to the picture I provided two or three times and even suggested a couple of very low-cost items that I hadn't thought of that absolutely "made" the restoration. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Kimry for her time and her incredible level of customer service. While I was a looking, another couple came in, and she treated them with the same level of professionalism.Moving forward, when I need any lighting or hardware of any kind for my home, I will refuse to shop elsewhere. The service and product line is second to none. I hope Decorum is around for long, long time.”
“They have Andersen doors and windows, and several isles of tools if you’re a homeowner. It looked like they are remodeling their showroom when I was there. There is also a big commercial lumber yard for builders and contractors. Nice, helpful people. Great experience.”

I didn't get the name of the man who waited on me but he was so personable and kind, helped me out to the car and loaded it (and the wind was COLD). “I bought tomato plants from Lowe's this spring, eight of which were Bonnie plants labeled Beefsteak. I grow them every year and love that they are so large. More bang for your buck! Except that these turned out to be NOT Beefsteaks. They are small tomatoes and shaped like Oxhearts, something Bonnie doesn't even grow?! I did contact Bonnie with photos and they had no idea what they were. Another one of the alleged Beefsteak plants never really grew and will produce only about five tomatoes! What a bummer! I contacted Lowe's 800 number and they forwarded my info to my local store and was contacted by a nice lady here in Scarborough. She apologized, refunded my purchase price and sent a $20 gift card, too! She did say that they come labeled so it wasn't something that they would have done at the store.It's a weird thing to happen, but this IS 2020, so that's what they are. 2020 tomatoes. In any case I appreciate the way Lowe's handled it! The other tomato plants are correct and producing lots of fruit. Ironically I had purchased the tomato plants from Lowe's instead of Broadway Gardens since did they not have any Beefsteaks this year.”

“I went to the Lowes in Scarborough and the employees were unhelpful and borderline rude. I decided to go and see if the Brighton location was any better, and thank goodness I did. Where Scarborough wouldn't help me place a $3k order for a fence, Matt at the Brighton Ave location was friendly, helpful, and even pulled some strings to get the supplies delivered a day earlier than expected. I'll drive further to go to this location from now on. Kudos to Matt!!”
“You have to watch what you're buying some tools are really great and then some tools are junk I bought a three claw pullers first thing I pulled just snap one of the tips right off and they wouldn't stand by it pretty upsetting you could see where it was defected it was cracked anyway that sockets are real good”

“Amazing, fast service during another one of those winter weather issues. I spent a lot of time trying to prep for winter with my snow blower. Prepping the gas, starting it throughout the summer months and letting it run, checking the oil. Despite all this, when the big day came to use the snow blower, it wouldn't blow snow, just start and stall over and over and over. As everyone knows, if you live in Maine you need to have a way to remove snow, especially if your driveway is as long as ours. So I started calling around and every repair place was booked out by at least 4 weeks. Luckily I found Sportsman's through word of mouth and they can to pick up our snowblower ($15 pick up and $15 drop off). They repaired it within 3 days! We had a storm the following day and BAM snowblower repaired and working better than ever. It even came back with an EXTREMELY detailed repair report which I appreciate! I highly recommend this place for their prompt turnaround times and responsiveness!”
