Been coming here at least twice a week since May and the addition of the kitchen / stir fry section. Every single time their stir fry is never open, advertised hours are M-F 11-7 Sat & Sun 11-6. If you've never had hannaford stir fry, let me tell you.. it's awesome and wrecks anything the local china shop makes. Only once have I actually been able to get stir fry here and at-first I gave the benefit of the doubt. I assumed it just wasn't quite ready to open or start, but on a whim last Friday at like 1pm an older lady was doing stir fry, of course I had some. Yet, once again today closed and it's 11:30. If you can't stick to your advertised hours at least have the decency to put a sign up. All this money spent to renovate and upgrade to a full-blown hannaford location, and then watching, as a consumer, 5 employees always around the kitchen, yet the kitchen to-go bins are mostly bare and always the same boring mashed potatoes, pulled pork, and stomach-churning teriyaki rice chicken (seriously, rotate and change it up none of it tastes good), and no one can man the stir fry despite standing around like they don't know what their task is, is quite a let-down.

I live near the nextriverside st store and have to travel to other stores in other towns due to constant drug use , paraphernalia and homeless population being allowed to completely disregard human safety or courtesy of others. Have found countless needles, with one loaded with drugs in the middle of an aisle..I will continue to shop here regularly just not at certain locations

Awful interaction with one of the assistant managers at the service desk. So disrespectful over finding a copy of a receipt. I felt like she was trying to scold me. Absolutely wild interaction and not something I am used to especially from an Hannaford employee because I have always had the best and most positive interactions from them.

Let's break this down.
I hate grocery shopping
The prices are unbelievable
I have to shop
I have to load
I have to unload
I have to scan
I have to bag
I have to endure unqualified suspicious glares
I have to lie about paper bags
Cause I hit 0 Everytime, It makes me feel risky
I have to pretend I don't notice items left in cart
Load car
Unload car
Walk a flight of stairs, with my 0 paper bags as they tear apart
Load fridge
Watch fridge get emptied by two teenagers in half hour.
Yeah..

Can someone please explain how my clynk was 58.00 3 weeks ago and after dropping 6 more bags after, it's only 61.00?. We fill to the line with each bag. Which in my quick calculation it's at least 3.50- 4.00 per bag. Something is not right here. Just saying

My biggest complaint is the deli. Not only does it close early, but everyone always has an attitude there. The guy tonight had zero personality and was slamming the slicers and mumbling to himself. I asked for my ham sliced thin…that didn’t happen. Every single time they mangle the cheese in the package causing it to crumble. Pretty annoying considering the price. I get times are tough, but come on, take some pride in what you’re selling.
Gone downhill so fast. Only go there at this point because it’s convenient.

Generally speaking a very good branch of this store. The butchery is small so dont expect your prime cuts to come from here. The fishmonger is better though, and usually has a good selection and good prices. Veggies are standard.
