Steer Clear. They are far from local. I notice many reviews here describe finding coverage and no one has actually been in the unfortunate position of filing a claim. What we failed to realize when signing up with FA Peabody is that Safeco (a Liberty Mutual Company) is the company responsible for covering our loss. . We made all of our payments on time and have more than enough coverage on our home. In our case a tree fell on our house and after 90 days our claim is still not resolved. We still can not proceed on many repairs and are living out of our home 5 weeks before the birth of our second child. Liberty Mutual and FA Peabody seem indifferent to this. Our FA Peabody representative reminds us that the process takes time and takes Liberty Mutuals word over ours (rather than checking the math) when obvious errors occur. We thought the tree falling on our house was hard but trying to work with FA Peabody and Liberty Mutual to get honest answers to our questions has been a full time job.

I worked with 3 other agencies before I finally found FA Peabody. They are hands-down the best by far.
They're easy to reach, very good at explaining things when I don't understand them, and they really care for customers. I can feel it in every interaction.
I'm giving 4 stars because my experience in trying to work out health insurance options keeps falling flat, but hey - it's really hard to be great at everything.
I have multiple policies held through FA Peabody, including Home, Auto, Commercial Auto, and Business Liability policies.

Justin and the team at FA Peabody in Westbrook are top notch. They have always found me the best deal possible and even given me more coverage at a comparable price to my current insurance policy when I switched over. On top of their vast network of plans to shop for you, their customer service is the best I’ve experienced in the auto/home/recreation insurance industry. I can’t recommend them enough!
