Great place 5 min drive to the beach. The beds were very comfortable. We rented a 2 bedroom but ended only using one room cause other other members cancelled on us the last minute. We stayed in 5 A which was at the bottom of the complex. We had a view from the patio of Wells Beach properties. The pool and hot tub were great I liked how the hot tub and pool were not overly chlorinated. On our stay the curtain rod in the larger room had fallen off from the wall we did notify the office right away and within a couple of hours it was fixed. On our last night we decided to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit it was very nice. Will be coming back to Village by the sea more often when we stay in Maine.

We had a long weekend and stayed in C6. It was listed as "no view". We were on the second floor and the balcony had a great view of the marsh.
The living room/dining room was huge and very well appointed. The entire unit was spotless.
I recommend making reservations well in advance. The Village by the Sea is a beautiful wedding venue.
We will definitely be going back!

The place was clean, and when you walk in the building is smells really good. Overall, more than what I expected. Stayed there for 6 months

We stayed here for one night while working in the area. The condo we stayed in was beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed a 1.5 mile walk to Wells Harbor and passed several seafood restaurants. We would love to come again and stay longer. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here because we were doing the Maine Coast Marathon weekend. It was conveniently located close to one of the race pickup and drop off locations. The overall room with kitchen, living room and both bedrooms was well maintained. The smaller room was a bit cramped with the two beds. Maybe would be better if they were both a twin instead of one double and a twin. Our biggest issue was that check out was at 10:00 a.m. That's pretty early compared to all other places we've stayed. And they only let up to five people ask for late checkout at one time. So we were very rushed coming back from the race to get our stuff and leave. The lady at the front desk was very nice and did allow us to use the key to the pool house to go freshen up in those restrooms.

It is a whole condo you are renting,not a room. I've been there 3 years in a row. I've only had good experiences every time. The condos are very nice. Tastefully decorated. It has everything you need. There are many nice restaurants in the area of wells. You don't have to drive far at all. There is even a Dunkin donuts across the street. It has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. It also has a function room for a wedding etc. I go here twice a year.
Rooms: Condo is well equipped. Full kitchen with all kitchenware.

TV in the living rooms were very outdated, and the game room is quite sparse in regards to options.

The reason why it is 3 Stars is cuz it doesn't have a restaurant on premises and not transportation to downtown you don't have a car you are stranded. We went there for a conference, It was amazing that the staff from reception to housekeeping were straordinari people but the only downside is that there's no delivery on food, no Uber or Lyft .so other than that it is an amazing place to stay.

We have been there twice and both times was amazing. I would definitely highly recommend to vacation here it's the best place we have truly found to stay and Maine , Wells has 3 different beaches the ocean view is amazing ? there's fun activities for kids in Wells and great food places but I do not recommend sea coast pizza and pasta we had such a bad experience with the food we'd never eat there again. All and all the condo apartments are very stunning and have everything in them to meet your needs. This is definitely our families new vacation location we love village by the sea ❤️❤️Rooms: All the bedrooms are gorgeous comfortable queen size beds beautiful bathrooms that are in the bedrooms beautiful big tvs beautiful dressers and so much more. You definitely would not be disappointed.Nearby activities: Swimming pools inside pool and outside pool which both are heated and clean and big size and gorgeous in ground pools. The inside pool building also has a gorgeous Jacuzzi in the pool room. There is also an arcade room and a nice fitness room provided at the village by the sea property. Down the road is a mini golf for kids and a go-cart for kids that also has a maze it's really awesome for kids and adults?. Theres beaches about 5-10 mins away their gorgeous. There's plenty of shopping you can do the Oquanquit Beach is about 20 mins from village by the sea but there is lots of traffic bumper to bumper so please be safe.Safety: They do have security cameras on the property everywhere and maintenance guys are always out circling the parking patrolling as well definitely a safe place to be. And I love the fact you can only use a card key to get in your apartment condo building and your apartment you rented also the pools are also secured you can only use the card key to enter the area of the pools. It's definitely secured.Walkability: The walking ability is fantastic there you can walk throughout the whole parking lots and out to the main road there is great walking ability as well.Food & drinks: The best advice for food and drinks would be to bring your own. The condos come with a beautiful kitchen and they supply all types of cookware and silverware and beautiful and clean stoves microwave dishes even cups and glasses. The cost of restaurants in Wells is pretty expensive even the mc. Donald's that's down the road from village by the sea I also Do Not Recommend Mc. Donald's either. Their very slow they do not get the orders right the food is served cold and very unfriendly people that work there. The condos apts come with a huge beautiful refrigerator so you have a place for bringing your own beverages.Noteworthy details: The noteworthy details are excellent inside the condo apartments. They explain everything how to use items and the TVs the wifi password pretty much everything that you can control in the apartment. Their definitely great with their noteworthy.

My husband and I stayed at Village by the Sea for a week in October. The condo unit we had was 2 bedrooms 2 baths. It was very spacious and comfortable. The unit was very clean and fresh. This condo community is very quiet and relaxing. The foliage was breathtaking and serene. We would definitely stay again.
