This gift shop is right next door to The Maine Diner and a must visit. Plenty of items to choose from: stickers, t-shirts, many gifts, and beautiful hand-blown glass animals.

Cute little shop, not an awful lot of merchandise but perfect for someone who just wants to pick up a Souvenir.

Cute things but the lady working there was not helpful and too busy with what she had going on behind the counter to answer a couple simple questions. I didn’t buy anything bc I didn’t want to support that.

Heading up US-1, I decided to stop by the Remember the Maine Gift Shop. The place had a lot more merchandise than what it had when I stopped in there circa 2010. The shop had everything from jams, jellies, small chocolate bars in lobster shapes, and several styles of coffee mugs to T-shirts, sports caps, tote bags, a cookbook containing some Maine Diner recipes, blueberry bar soap, and kitchen towels. The side wall near the cashier had several pen and ink drawings. Some were left black and white; some had been colorized. My attention was drawn to the work of Kurt W. Kellar, who was a Wells resident. I liked the prints of his drawings of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse in New Castle, NH and the Perkins Cove section of Ogunquit, ME. I decided to get a print of Perkins Cove, one of my favorite spots in Southern Maine. I got the colorized version. It was $24.00. The black and white version was $20.00. The cashier was very nice. For the variety and quality of merchandise, I rate Remember the Maine Gift Shop at 4.50. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

Cute little shop to get some souvenirs, not outrageously priced.
