Trip to Wells, Maine stayed at the beautiful Holiday Guest House Bed & Breakfast, owned by Patrick who was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history of the hoke that was built in the 1800's and was visited by Eleanor Roosevelt when visiting a friend. The property is conveniently located to the most popular beaches and towns. We were not able to stay long at the beach because of the weather, but we had a amazing dinner at Ogunquit lobster pound. In the morning Patrick served holla bread French toast with strawberries and syrup and bacon. The room was comfortable and clean and Patrick did a amazing job of decorating the room with the respect of the style when the home was built. I would definitely recommend staying at the Holiday Guest House Bed & Breakfast if you are ever in Wells, Maine

Walking distance to a gorgeous beach. A charming historic house with a delightful host who treats all aspects of his service as an art.Walkability: I was there without a car. I arrived by bike and was able to walk to everything I wanted to see.

A gem among the cascading inn options!A well cared for historical property inside and out, furnished with a detailed eye on elegance and comfort. Don't just eye the bedroom, every room was handled with care. We had a wonderful stay with quality service and the food cooking as we sat. The room was clean and fresh.Thank you Patrick for your hospitality, we shall return!

We enjoyed every minute of our 4-night stay. The house is beautiful, inside and out. Built in 1820, the decor reflects the age and locale. Beautifully appointed rooms. Lush gardens in a lovely setting. Really comfortable beds gave us good nights’ sleep. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious, served by your attentive, pleasant host, Patrick. Lemon-blueberry pancakes to die for, frittatas, challah bread French toast, are just a few of the delights we enjoyed here. Such an enjoyable experience! Thanks, Patrick. Mike & Donna from NH

My boyfriend and I just stayed in the gorgeous Eleanor Roosevelt room and, although our stay was only one night, we fell in love with this B&B. The bed was very comfy, and the breakfast is just amazing! Patrick made blueberry pancakes with bacon and it was the best breakfast we had in out entire New England trip! Patrick is a great host as well, very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for the hospitality, Patrick!

Very sweet location. Rooms and common areas immaculate! Patrick was the best host serving incredible breakfasts. He offered advice on different sites and was always very accommodating. Highly recommend staying here. I can’t say enough good things to recommend staying with Patrick.

Patrick and Coco were absolutely amazing! They are excellent hosts. We stayed for 2 night and the breakfast was mouthwatering both days! The room was perfect, extremely beautiful, clean, big, and comfortable. The pool was great too after a hot day at the beach. My husband and I had a wonderful time and will go back without a doubt!

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay here this weekend. Our room was large, cozy, clean, and inviting. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner’s tiny dog sunbathing in the entryway. She was adorable and only added to the charm of this quintessential New England Inn. The owner was welcoming, informative, and made the most delicious breakfast for us during our stay. This was everything we had hoped for our long awaited parents weekend away. You won’t be disappointed!

The guest house was quaint and intimate. It has been remodeled and decorated with much detail and care. The bedroom (the West room) was comfortable and nicely decorated although getting to it was a bit tricky if you have mobility issues; the stairs leading up to it are narrow and steep...and creaky (but that is expected from a home that’s almost 200 years old). The bathroom was roomy and had all the necessary amenities. Patrick, the host, was very accommodating considering we arrived past 8 pm. He is friendly, warm and loves to share stories. And his breakfast was scrumptious.

Patrick the owner was so gracious and friendly. His breakfasts were outstanding. Beautiful, historic place. Only complaint is that it was quite cold in the house. Could have been warmer. But other then that, we loved it!
