The grocery store is large and generally well stocked, but staff weren't particularly helpful and the produce was so-so. I do think we were there on a day they were re-stocking, so maybe it's better other days.

We frequent this store while traveling and I have to say I love it (especially in the early AM when it is not busy). Most of the staff is nice and informative. I'd say the only thing that could be improved is some of the way the staff handles questions. For example: when you order a product such as a lobster and the young man replies, "sorry we're out" - that is not helpful. A reply such as "sorry, we sold out, but we expect a delivery on such a date and you can try back at this time" would be much more appropriate. Now I have to ask 2-3 additional questions and take up more of the young mans time to attempt to get the information I need. Perhaps this is learned, but it can also be taught by managers.

This store is kind of an anomaly with Hannaford's. I only visited the deli, but they don't even have a hot food bar here. Only Hannaford I've ever been in where they didn't have one. A little thing also, but their pin pads are really annoying at this store. They don't have apple pay, and you also have to hit debit or credit on top of totaling your order of self-checkout. It's just weird, I don't know why this Hannaford is the only one that doesn't have Apple pay and requires the extra steps at the check out process

I love hannaford wells. Weird that my debit card was declined 2x. I was doing self.checkout...and yes...I knownwhat I'm doing w my debit card. I called my bank afterward and my bank said the charge never came through. 2 separate days. I thought there was something strange so asked attendant. She didnt think anything weird going on. I think there is. Maybe they just don't want to give cash back?

This has to be one of the busiest grocery stores around during tourist season….even a trolley stops here! During peak season shelves and produce are stocked as though five course meals could be cooked by thousands with massive amounts of fresh produce, meats and wines. Recycling in the parking lot - during tourist season very busy parking lot be careful of foot traffic and walking cell phones that don’t look up ?

It's been really picked over lately, things not in stock produce not up to normal standards. It does a lot better in the summer when the vacationers are here, It's a shame they can't keep the same quality for the locals that winter over.
