I’d give them zero if I had the chance.I tried to buy a car from them, negotiated a price I was happy with and asked for a purchase and sales agreement. They gave it to me, first with the wrong price but graciously revised it to the number we agreed to. So I made plans to pick up the car, got the loan issued, insurance policy in place. I called the dealership to confirm everything was a go with the sales manager and he tried to increase the price by $800 due to a ‘mixup’ on their end. He then looked for every reason to blame me for their mistakes, even though they sent me the purchase and sales agreement for the amount we agreed to.I would advise anyone to shop elsewhere for a new car, these guys are more interested in playing games. Games at best, willful deception may be more likely the case.

The first time in my life, I felt good about the deal and the people at the dealership a few days after the sale. Very honest and straightforward, no smoke and mirrors. The VW dealership in Augusta could learn a lot from the staff at Thompson.

Friendly, informative staff that helps but doesn't pressure. Salesman Frank Wright was a pleasure to work with and accommodated my limited schedule. Any concerns I had were addressed head on. No games. Highly recommend.

I recently needed to find and order some parts for my car. I knew what I needed for part just not the exact part numbers so on July 14th I called Thompson Mazda. I spoke with someone on the phone and gave them year, make, model and VIN number of my car. Then explained to them which parts I needed. They started to try and look up the diagrams to verify the parts numbers. Their computers were experiencing issues that day and were running slow. After not having luck getting the computer to work they hastily took down my number and told me they’d call me back when they had everything sorted out. Not once did they ask for my name. I never heard back from them at all and eventually had to order online from a dealership in NC on July 22nd. Still to this day never received a call back…..I’m glad I didn’t wait. One star customer service from me and from now on I’ll order online and pay for shipping.

We had The BEST car buying experience at Thompson Audi in Waterville. David LeClair was wonderful!! Very knowledgeable,smart,funny and patient. The car is absolutely perfect and we left feeling very happy with the entire experience!!! He gives car salesmen a GOOD name!!

Just traded for the redesigned VW Tiguan. Excellent vehicle shopping experience with no pressure and no games. Frank was my sales associate and he did a great job explaining the highlights of the new Tiguan and, again, made the transaction a good experience. It's worth the drive to Thompson VW, Audi and Mazda in Waterville to buy or lease your vehicle for personal service, customer care and ease of doing business with a local, established, family-owned business.
