Much better these days. They’ve improved how they stock the store and still have late hours when you have to have that item for school, work, or any event.

Man these people are mean. They talk about customers being their backs, mocking them for leaving the bathrooms a mess. Gross store and gross people. Avoid.

Normally everyone is so nice at this shop and very welcoming. However, things were very different today. I was born blind in one eye and am having sight problems with my other eye due to recent health problems. On the phone app, it said that you would get $2 off Gain Fireworks. I pressed the clip coupon button and went into the store. In the store, I found the Gain Fireworks with a sign in front of it. The sign had a big red $2 off on it. That matched my coupon so I grabbed it. After check out, I found that I didn't get my $2 off so I went back into line to see if I could get that fixed. I explained the situation and the cashier insisted it was for a different size. I cannot see the fine print as it is too small for me to read even with my glasses on so I told her I was going by the sign in front of the product with the big $2 off on it. She took me back over to the display where the sign was prominently displayed beneath the product. I pointed and said, "See! There it is. $2 off. I got the right one!" She points to what to me looks like a small blurry red line below the price and says, "This sign is clearly expired!! It says it right there!!" She rips the sign down as I say, "UMM??? I don't see an expiration." She says, "Right at the bottom!!" I still couldn't see any expiration date and she was getting impatient with me so I said, "I'm sorry I have sight impairment so I honestly don't see what you are saying. Besides, if it were expired why was the sign still up there?" She got upset and said, "Is it really Family Dollar's problem that you cannot see????? It clearly states on the electronic coupon what size is on sale and the sign clearly was expired!" I told her that I couldn't see any of what she was saying and so it was in fact Family Dollar's fault because they are making it impossible for the sight-impaired to shop in their store with the tiny footnotes on the signs and coupons!! I then told her maybe next time I should bring a magnifying class to shop with!! She again told me it wasn't her problem or the store's problem!! I was taken back. I went home and cried I was so upset. It isn't about the stupid coupon at all but about being treated like I'm some stupid idiot who cannot read or comprehend the English language because I'm sight-impaired. I do the best I can to support and care for my family and I struggle every single day due to my sight problems and my health issues. I already feel like a burden to my family due to my limitations but this just made it 10 times worse!! I feel completely useless and stupid because I have a disability. I don't see how that is fair at all!! After I composed myself I looked for prices on Orcam Read to see if I could get around this situation happening again and found they are over $1,750!! I don't have that kind of money so I'm going to have to continue struggling with people who have no sympathy or feelings for people in my position. I honestly feel as if going out anymore is not a good option as it is embarrassing and belittling. I have special computer settings for sight-impaired but life outside the computer just isn't that accommodating. Obviously, Family Dollar doesn't support people with disabilities. I'm very disappointed in them.

Every single time I go to this store employees are smoking right there before you enter the store. That's all I ever smell when I shop there. They are notorious for selling expired food. And every time I go there if something is on sale it never rings up in the register. I asked a cashier today what the pink dot on a price tag meant. Her reply was..."Nothing..this isnt goodwill!! I mostly avoid this store even tho it is convenient to home.:(

You have a single cashier who ruins the experience. Completely rude and unprofessional. Rest of staff have always been great and the complete opposite but she made it so I won’t be back.
