We purchased Oyster River wines for our wedding reception dinner (we had wine bottles uncorked and open on the tables for guests to pour, as well as ciders) this past September in coastal Maine. We ordered the Chardonnay, Pet Nat, Pet Nat Rose, and Oyster River Red. They were so exceptional and delicious and our guests really raved about them. The wines truly elevated the meal and the staff at Oyster River couldn't have been more lovely to work with.

Great wine and vibe. We enjoyed a shaded afternoon hour here. Could use a fan or two to help with airflow in the barn, but it felt great on the picnic tables out front!

Oyster River Winegrowers is just off the beaten path in Warren. We were staying in nearby Rockland and had this on our must-visit list while in town. Thankfully we made it for their last open weekend for 2021! Service was extremely friendly - and we learned a ton about the winery and their practices. My husband listened to a podcast about the winery (which is why we'd wanted to visit), and the owner used to plow only using a horse. They have since switched to more modern ways - but I love that their wines are all-natural and with as minimal intervention as possible. The wines themselves are fantastic!! We had a 1/2 pour of each of the six offerings (sparkling white morphos, sparkling rose morphos, Chardonnay, cab franc, merlot and a cider) and I truly was surprised to find they are all GREAT!!! The sparkling white and Chardonnay were my favorites, but the reds were nice and dry and full of flavor. The cider was also dry and tart - it is lovely! The rose morphos was a bit too sweet for me, but tasty nonetheless! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area!

What a great place-SO FUN! Bring your own glasses (they have some for sale), a snack (they sell some, too), buy a bottle, sit and sip!! The barn is eclectic with a bar. Cats and a very cool corgi come to visit guests. They use different grapes (Cab Franc) than other wineries. Their Morphos selections of pet-nat sparkling wine are delicious. Quick note: bathrooms are “nature calls”!

Wouldn't know since there was no tasting at the winery. Always willing to buy wine but will never come back nor buy their wine anywhere it's sold.

Truly the definition of a hidden gem. Delicious, natural wine from a small producer in rural Maine. Came for Pizza Night and did not disappoint. Ended up leaving with 8 bottles due to our wine with dinner (carbonic nation) being so delicious.
