I got out of work just in time to make it before closing , I called requesting a pharmacy tech for 9minutes straight and got no answer. (My wife confirmed the script was ready 30m prior) I showed up 2 minutes before closing and the door was locked already & I called the curbside number just to have to female pharmacy technician stand there & make eye contact with me through the large window , while I could hear the phone ringing next her from outside. (While it was still before closing & she had notice I was coming from work in a rush)So My 2yo son couldn’t get his antibiotics and had to ride 30min to the e.r for a temporary dose pack after 6p,m & ultimately didn’t get home until after 8p.m.With no notice I could understand they didn’t have it prepared yet, but it was confirmed it was prepared just 30min prior aswell as made know I was rushing from work.Blatant disregard for the medical needs of a toddler DURING business hours.Very disappointed that’s the type of customer service provided by our small town pharmacy technician….Using Walmart from here on out.

I have been getting medications from Community Pharmacy since they opened the doors from when it was Waltz Pharmacy. They always answer any questions that I have and if I need refills they message my Dr. The staff have always been friendly sometimes they get frustrated and overwhelmed just like everyone else nobody is perfect but still do their jobs. I can't thank Brandon enough for the explanation of a few meds I have been prescribed . The staff is as helpful as they can be it's a small pharmacy that's the best thing about it . They are more personable than a bigger pharmacy . This is a perfect sized pharmacy for the residents of Waldoboro. Overall this is a great pharmacy and they do what they can to get prescriptions filled in a timely manner. The staff are wonderful. Awesome Job !!!!

Very poor customer service. Called the pharmacy Tuesday afternoon to ask about getting my 2nd Moderna booster and another vaccine my doctor had sent a Rx to them for. I was told they could do both the next day. Wednesday morning when I arrived I was told that they only had one vial of Moderna and if they vaccinated me they would have to throw the rest of the vial away as it would expire in 12 hours. They told me Pfizer was available, but refused to give me the Moderna vaccine in spite of what I was told the previous evening. The excuse they gave me was that they did not have a process/sign ups to administer the second booster yet. I asked to be put on a waitlist/call back list. I was told no. I was told I would have to call back on Friday afternoon when the main pharmacist would be back. Coincidentally later in the day I saw Community Pharmacy in Gorham post on Facebook that they were giving out Moderna vaccines the same day. I imagine Community Pharmacy in Waldoboro could have provided me the booster and made a similar Facebook post advertising they were administering Moderna as well to use the complete Moderna vial as well. I have since made other arrangements for my booster. I called back this afternoon to have the Rx for the other vaccine which my doctor sent to them forwarded to a different pharmacy. They refused to do so. I was told the other pharmacy needs to contact them to get my prescription transferred. I will not do business with this pharmacy moving forward as the staff has been extraordinarily unhelpful. Please note there is another very recent one star Google review where the actions of the staff at Community Pharmacy potentially endangered a customer’s health. Think twice about doing business with Community Pharmacy of Waldoboro.

This is now several times when this pharmacy delayed my prescription filling. They have signs all over stating they are short staffed and admonishing customers to be patient. I'm normally quite patient, but I am done with this pharmacy.After leaving this critical review, my new pharmacy called to transfer my refills and the community pharmacy falsely told them that my refills were all expired. This nearly caused me to miss doses of critical cardiac medications. All of these prescriptions had 3 refills until 12/15/22. I can't think of any other reason why they gave false information to my new pharmacy than retaliation for the critical review. Disgusting!

Five stars is not enough! Before even stepping foot inside the door , the Pharmacist personally answered two of our phone calls. Our 3 year old daughter had a medication she needed to take and after failing so miserably at home that we had to come back for a second dose, the pharmacist customized the taste on the second batch, magically transforming cherry into a bubble gum concoction! It still took us the better part of 30 minutes in the pharmacy to get it all down the hatch, and throughout the ups & downs we were cheered on and supported. We had a customer centric experience that took us from first time customer to pharmacy evangelist!

Yes, 5 STARS! No matter what I need, or how silly my question may seem to me, I know I can count on everyone at Community Pharmacy to help me out. Never making the customer feel like a burden.. The best pharmacists and nicest employees without a doubt.
