The most decent experience I've ever had at a veterinary clinic. My dog and I were attacked by a possibly rabid raccoon and not being up to date on shots plus no money was a very traumatic experience. I arrived when they opened and asked for an emergency rabies shot only. They were able to help me in my time of need and I am very grateful. We need more places like this

My poor pup was attacked by another dog . I brought him to the veterinarian in My town. The first day they did surgery and stitched him up . When we went back to have is drain tubes taken out the vet came out and said , well it's not good ,he has a bunch a dead skin . You have like 3 options . 1- take all the dead skin off and wrap with clean dressing ever 2 days and it probably won't work . 2- have his leg amputated and hope no infection happens . 3- euthanizing. Which she recommended. I couldn't bear to put down my best friend. So I went to Veazie veterinarian and go a 2nd Opinion. The WONDERFUL doctor there said to forget EVERYTHING the other vet said . Chance it doing great . He walks , he wags his tail , yes he's in rough shape but we can fix him . Chances first surgery at Veazie Veterinarian hospital cost a lot but so worth it . Chance is eating again, he's barking at noises . I will be moving all my animals to Veazie for now on . The doctor is the most caring and understanding veterinarian I have ever met . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In November we bought a little baby Sphinx kitten from a breeder just outside of Boston ( message me and I will tell you the Sphinx breeder to avoid). At any case we took her here and she checked out as healthy at the time. A month later we were back because of poopy problems. We found out she had a disease that is common in unclean catteries. We received a prescription and the problems started clearing up. Then the real problems started. Our little girl was losing weight and was tired all the time. Because we travel so much we had to take her to an emergency vet in Connecticut. At that point she was diagnosed with FIP which is nearly 100% fatal. We made sure all records were sent to her doctor at the Veazie clinic and they did so much research and expressed such concern for our little Arista. They made appointments available at short notice which during these times is amazing. We drove from Rhode Island on more than one occasion because they were the only one that we could make a appointment with to do the blood tests we needed to monitor her progress. My wife and I sourced the drugs and administered the treatments because vets are not allowed to do it or even tell us about the possible treatment for this horrible disease but we needed a concerned vet that we could ask questions and monitor our treatment progress. Today our little girl is happy, healthy and full of energy. We have another month before we can say she is 100% cured and we are confident she will be. Thank you so much for the outstanding effort everyone at this clinic did for us and our little baby.

Thank you so much to Dr. Tardiff and Ashley— our sweet Rat Terrier needed to be seen but we weren’t able to get in anywhere after calling around. Veazie Vet called me after getting a cancellation and got us in, took excellent care of our girl, and got her back to her sweet, spunky self. We cannot thank you enough for the thoughtful and compassionate care!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and veterinarian. I wouldn't allow anyone but David Cloutier to see my dog. Vet has gotten down on floor to interact with my dog more than once!

I've had nothing but AMAZING experiences with Dr. Cloutier!!!! I have two retired working dogs who can be quite challenging. Every experience with Dr. Cloutier has been nothing but positive. We've had some negative experiences with other veterinarians, and the 1 1/2 hour drive to get to Veazie is totally worth it. So very grateful a friend recommended Veazie Veterinary Clinic when I recently moved to Maine. The staff has been wonderful too and do everything in their power to support me and get me in when my senior dogs are having issues. Thank you Dr. Cloutier and all the Veazie staff!!!

Service and staff is nice. Dr Keane is great. Just had to have our dog put to sleep and was charged $450.00. When asked for the breakdown $125.00 was for the medication and the balance for the cremation and return of our beloved pets ashes, $325.00. Unfortunately we lost another of our babies who died at home 2 months ago. We took her to the same facility the vet uses for cremation services and received the same service for $79.00. Kind of feel like the vet needs to rethink taking advantage of people in a very vulnerable, sad time in their life. The people answering the phone when you are making that kind of an appointment could be a bit more compassionate also. The lady was pretty cold and matter of fact, kind of rude.

Our experience was great! The Doctor and staff are incredibly professional and they genuinely care for your pet(s) and you. They definitely set the standard of what every vet clinic should be. The greater Bangor area is fortunate to have them.

I'm so thankful for the referral to Veazie Vet. My 2 and a half year old Roxy girl was given the diagnosis of stomatitis at another vet clinic and I was told she would need all of her teeth extracted. Being a hygienist I was in shock and in disbelief. I got the referral from a friend to get a second opinion from Veazie Vet. It was the best decision I ever made. She did in fact have stomatitis, but it was not nearly as bad as I was previously told. They performed a complete dental exam with x-rays and did a deep cleaning and only ended up needing 2 teeth extracted. That's a big difference! I will be forever grateful that I didn't move forward with the full mouth extraction. Thank you Dr. Tardiff.
