The people working in the store are very friendly and helpful. The store is always stocked with everything I need and the prices are reasonable.

Prices are little higher than a regular Hannaford but it's normal for a small town locally owed grocery store. Very nice workers in there for the most part.

They make an effort to stock a selection of local, organic, gluten free, vegan, etc. choices.

Nice, local place with amazing fresh produce and everything you could need in a well-organized space. The employees are usually so super friendly, but wow the young woman working the register around 4-ish today (4/15) was wicked rude. Not only was she dismissive and condescending to me, but she used a “deaf” slur to make fun of the guy she was working with loud enough for the whole store to here. Definitely some customer service training or maybe back of house needed there. Otherwise fantastic shop; love stopping there for my necessities!

Nice, local place with amazing fresh produce and everything you could need in a well-organized space. I usually go to the hannaford in hampden, but sometimes stop here when we’re in unity. The employees are usually so super friendly, but wow the young woman working the register around 4-ish today (4/15) was wicked rude. Not only was she dismissive and condescending to me, but she used a “deaf” slur to make fun of the guy she was working with loud enough for the whole store to hear. She seemed to think her attitude made her look pretty cool (and idk if she was trying to impress somebody?), but this isn’t Urban Outfitters. Definitely some customer service training or maybe back-of-house needed there. Otherwise fantastic shop!

I'd rather drive to Troy General for most things. Their deli is certainly better than Unity Shop and Save. I'd say more, but they already deleted my review. My advice? Drive into Waterville or Bangor to save frustration.

Made probably one of my last trips in this evening. Everything was fine until checkout. I’m all set on having to deal with a ‘shift supervisor’ who either doesn’t care about personal hygiene or is oblivious to it. When I can still get a whiff of rancid body odor through a mask, it’s bad and ought to be addressed.

you need to enforce masks.. Kaylee, your employee, was in exit area without her mask. I also saw a gentleman ready to exit...no mask either.

Certain cashiers need to work on there people skills ... normally have no issues with service in this facility. I got told to go to another check out line when the cashier has two people working her line just so she could hang an chill with her co worker.

This is my neighborhood grocery. When in the store today, I was very frustrated and disappointed that only about 1/2 of the employees wore masks. I asked a worker about that and he said they were not required to wear them and therefore they could not require customers to wear them either. About 1/3 of the customers were not masked. A barely visible, tiny sign by the door said masks were required and one would be provided if asked. If this store really cares about the community, it should model caring practices. Their message is clear. I will no longer shop there, as I do not feel safe.BW
