We recently hosted our wedding here. Our wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined all thanks to the help of Tom and Yvonne! Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, the bed and breakfast is cozy and comfortable. Breakfast provided by the owners was fabulous and the hospitality all the same! We hope to make staying here a yearly tradition on the weekend of our anniversary!

My husband and i eloped and stayed here for the weekend. And I can't say enough about how above and beyond Tom and Yvonne went for our special (day)weekend.. such a genuine couple. I really dont have enough words for the level of appreciation i have for them. They made sure our visit was as comfortable and ran smoothly. Great breakfast, beautiful scenery. I'd stay again in a heartbeat

The Homestead far exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Tom and Yvonne, were so accommodating and thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was so delicious! From the chocolate chip cookies at arrival to the scones at breakfast, everything was just fantastic. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend a stay on your trip to Maine.

Off the beaten path from the bustle of Camden, this lakeside oasis was pure respite from any care. My wife arrived solo, a day early. She was completely comfortable and welcomed as a friend. My brother and I then joined her for an unexpected extended stay. There was ample space for office work that needed attention. A fire in the outside fireplace, fresh towels for after a kayak & swim, cookies at bedtime, pleasant conversation and privacy in good measure. We’d love to be there right now!

This place and proprietors are spectacular. Not really need to add much. Place is a no brainer. Wish it was someplace else. Otherwise if you are looking for a place to say. It's the place, period

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Our hosts, Tom and Yvonne, were most gracious and wonderful. Their home is inviting, beautiful and cozy. They served us a delightful breakfast each morning. We can’t wait to visit again next July! Thank you so much!

A gem of a find. Great breakfast, after I slept on a cloud of a bed! A morning stroll around the property bring us to the lake. We where there in October as the leaves where turning, and it was

Love this place! The hosts are wonderful and pay such attention to detail. The breakfasts are fantastic and you MUST have eggs because Tom and Yvonne raise their own chickens. I was sad to miss breakfast our last day because we got up too early( a very long drive home) but when we came downstairs we noticed a to go bag with scones and other goodies- what a special treat.! Highly recommend! See you next year! Georgia and Hank

Thanks you both for making our Mother/ Daughter's weekend so memorable! Yvonne&Tom are awesome host and make you feel at home as soon as you get there. The fresh made breakfast with homemade cranberry sconces are amazing and the rooms are so comfortable. You can't beat the price either so much better than a stuffy old hotel room.! We will be back again!?

My wife and I stayed there with her sister and their family and Golden Doodle for 4 nights earlier this month. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and Tom and Yvonne were very hospitable and easy going. Great swims and paddles on the lake / river and a super quiet location. The location is actually great for people who want to have access within half an hour to various places along the coast, including Rockland, Camden, Rockport and our favourite Belfast. Highly recommended!

The owners (new since 6 yrs ago) are fabulous hosts - they think of everything! The huge and peaceful property is a slice of heaven! Accommodations in the 1700s farmhouse are SO comfortable and relaxing. You are only sharing the house with a few other guests so it is a much quieter experience than some inns. Breakfast is made to order, using their farm fresh eggs, honey, concord grape jelly, and garden vegetables and herbs. Yvonne’s warm tomato salad with goat cheese is excellent, as are Tom’s scones!!You will not want to leave the front porch overlooking the field and pond! I became one with the very comfy chair for several hours while my husband played guitar and the dog napped in the sun at my feet. You might even see deer cross the field or an eagle circle over the pond.Everything you need to explore the large and beautiful Seven Tree Pond is provided (canoe, kayaks, life vests, paddles). There are some great hikes nearby and Camden is only 15 mins away via scenic Rt 17.Also, they are dog-friendly! The owners (and two other guests) were so gracious with our young rescue dog and helped create a positive experience for her with strangers in a strange place. Kyra laid at the owner’s feet when it was time to go - she didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a really sweet place to stay ‘out of the fray’ in the Camden area - or just want to try something new - we highly recommend the David Robbins Homestead in Union on Seven Tree Pond!! It is everything a BnB should be, and everything you hope for when you need to ‘get away from it all.’
