“My wife Doreen and I had a great experience at Goodwin Volvo. It started with a Sunday stopover on our way back from watching our grandson play basketball and we saw three vehicles that we really like the looks of they were pre-owned certified XC90s. We had a little bit of trouble communicating with the sales department at Goodwin for some reason. I think they should consider changing how they answer phones but we did finally reach somebody by the end of that week. We went down on Saturday to look at and try out a couple of those vehicles that we considered other models, but being big people that we are, we like the XC90 and our salesperson. Ralph was fabulous. Very accommodating. We looked at buying new versus buying slightly used and the economics made sense for us to buy the certified XC90Dude, unfortunate circumstances in the Central Maine area. There was some challenges in our pickup of the Volvo but Goodwin's made and possible for us to pick up the vehicle when we wanted to and are their business manager. Jared was very helpful as wellI would recommend anyone to give Goodwin's motor group a chance when you're shopping for a vehicle. It's a little bit more old school than some places. “I brought them some tires I bought online to be mounted on a second set of rims. I was able to drop them off. The price was cheaper than a couple other local places I called, and when they went to start mounting, they called me to let me know the tires I had purchased were not the same size as the OEM tire, which I thought was a nice and helpful gesture. “Had a little bit of an uncommon issue with my 2023 mt-07 that was still under warranty. I called over to another dealership and was told to bring it down as soon as possible, 24 hours later they told me they didn’t know what I was talking about and it was going to be weeks before it gets in.
How did I ever forget about Moms! Called over there and explained the issue I was having. He immediately asked when I could get it in. For me I needed to go pick up the trailer 40 mins away. Mark, who was incredibly nice, offered to come get the bike on his way home so it could get in to the shop. Within the next day I had clear answers as to what was happening. 36 hours later, after the bike was 100% issue free, I’m riding my bike home with the current issue corrected but also suspension adjusted, chain tightened, and they replaced the missing body panel bolts. My bike was washed and spit shined before picking up (better than I’ve done lol)
This company goes above and beyond. I deeply am thankful that I have my bike back for the weekend and everything is looking amazing. Thank you moms for the great customer service and for caring for your customers!”

“Stopped here on our way home to central Massachusetts last Monday when our battery light came on, suspecting a bad alternator. Todd was extremely helpful, tested our system and called around for a replacement. Unfortunately none was available that day and we needed to get home. So although he couldn’t help us with a repair, he went over and above — made sure our battery was fully charged and gave us sound advice about how far we could go before needing another charge. We made it home with one additional stop/charge at an auto parts store on the way. Great to find honest and helpful people when traveling in parts unknown. Highly recommend.”
