“Best to go in July for harvest but any day is a great day on the farm. Picnic tables avail so bring lunch and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The barn is amazing. The products are luxurious and worth the splurge. They even sell plants so you can start your own lavender garden.Farm and little store is in Appleton and the main retail store is in Camden.”

They specially formulate the waxes to create 'no-drip' candles. We gave several of their candles as gifts this year.”
“Totally love this place. Worth a stroll often, always new things to find. Half our house is furnished from finds at 10 Mechanic. Also the staff is cool and enjoy them as much as the shop!”

My wife purchased a beautiful, handwoven, multicolored, shetland wool blanket. I purchased a beautiful, multicolored pair of socks. Guess whose purchase cost more. Both items promptly arrived yesterday via USPS at our San Francisco house. We are very pleased with our purchases. Here is a picture of the blanket draped over my rocking chair.”

389 Main St, Rockland“This is an absolutely beautiful gift shop. There are so many wonderful things to choose from. One of the staff members helped me choose great gifts, for a Yankee swap event at work. I told the lovely staff member that I need to ship the gift items to Virginia. Her and another kind associate boxed the items I purchased and made sure they packed them, to avoid any possible damage. The ladies were such a joy to interact with. I told them I relocated back to Maine from Virginia. I plan to frequent Seagull Cottage for great gift ideas. I had such a nice experience. Thank you so much.”

371 Main St, Rockland“My better half loves this store. Their handbags are crafted from recycled rugged maritime fabric used in sails. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. This weatherproof material will last forever. I am quite impressed with the quality and design. Their stores sell other products as well. I like all of the different maritime symbols and designs Sea Bags imprints onto their products. Cool stuff.”
“Used to be better when there was more inventory. I guess they have a shortage of prisoners. Come to NYC we have plenty to spare. Definitely worth a visit though!”
