Valerie Jackomino has been my stylist for more than 10 years and I was so delighted when she started her own salon in my town. She is so very skilled at cutting and coloring hair, taking great pains to do exactly what her customers want. I can't recommend this salon highly enough.

Finally found another barber for my 7 year old son. Let alone a great, walk in barber shop! He has had the same barber since he was 1, & still continues to see Frank, when operation hours work on both ends. It wasn’t easy to get him to allow another person to cut his hair. Eventually he did & got used to trusting & having one other lady, who had always done his hair cuts when Frank couldn’t. He’s a boy who definitely knows what he wants & gets in his zone when it comes to having his hair cut & styled. Happy for all shops around being booked for 1-2 weeks out around here. Or I would have never known about this place having actually barbers. Was able to walk right in & get his hair done before leaving for camp for a couple weeks or so. Quick, fast, good quality place! Place fills right up with people, but they get through the customers just as quick, without compromising quality. ?** TWO Years later & Nick is still my son’s barber. Paul seems just as great! Doesn’t matter the age, from the youngest to their oldest; they both have no problem pulling you in &conversing & making you comfortable! Overall it’s a good atmosphere! They truly enjoy what they do & you can tell!

Worst haircut of my life. I asked for a blunt bob, and I received a choppy bob with a completely uneven edge, different length from front to back, and no blending despite my suggestion when I noticed the cut going downhill. Too nervous to even get back in that chair, and I doubt the original stylist could fix it.Service: Haircut

I had an appointment and was running a few minutes late. I called ahead of time to let the staff know this, and then was told had to reschedule because they have someone coming in half an hour after my appointment. A women's cut takes more than 30 minutes and honestly I am glad I did not let them cut my hair, knowing that a haircut takes FAR more than 30 minutes. This alone tells me that they do not care about putting effort and time into their work, not care about tending to their clients. Steer clear if you expect more than 30 minutes for a women's cut. Sheesh.

Nick is amazing! He's an excellent barber, reasonably priced, easy to locate, right on Main Street in Thomaston! No appointment needed. Just walk in and ask for Nick, he did an awesome job on my step son's hair!
