For the past few days the store has been locked up by 4:30pm.. however it's not updated online and when you call the number listed here it just rings and rings. This store is located in a very busy spot and could have huge potential!! I understand the store has had issues with staff (for whatever reason(s) ) but couldn't staff from another location come train people and fill in? Couldn't the company work out a deal with the local highschool (that's a few miles down the road) or set up a customer appreciation day with BBQ and incentives on joining the team(?) Have a district manager on the premises to hold interviews that day? Again, I'm unsure on why there's always been an issue with having adequate staff at this location...but there must be ways to fix some of it before the store ends up closing for good,...right?! As a "local" it's very frustrating and disappointing to watch this decline happen. This community really needs this store to stay open and thrive! I sincerely hope someone at the company starts thinking outside the box and tries new ways to help this store stay open and flourish. Attend a few town meetings, start asking the neighboring businesses and locals what they'd like to see from that location, make a plan and ask the town for some help!! Somebody do something...please.

This place excels at being consistently disappointing, understaffed, randomly closed during normal business hours & also generally just an eyesore blemish of a big bix store, along with his otherwise a beautiful coastal Highway

That store is a disaster. Nothing on the shelves and every thing is in crates . You can't even get down the isles. U have to move the carts JUST to see if what u want is there .9 times out of 10 it is not .For a convenience it definitely is not .

I just left the Sullivan store and I have to say I was completely shocked at how cleaned out the store was. I was just there three weeks ago and it was a complete disaster. Now all the isles are cleaned up there’s no carts in there anywhere and you can actually walk up and down every single isle I am very impressed. Keep it up!!

store sucks never open always "sorry for the inconvenience we are closed" so far every day this week. only inconviene they provide is lack of their job with the fact every shelf is empty and theres always employees talking amongst each other and no one working. should just permanently close. already doing great at it

The place is a disaster. Full carts of product blocking what might actually be on the shelves which isn't much at all. Almost every shelf in there is empty. I don't know what the owners of this business are thinking. They are losing so much money due to lack of employees and the employees that are there obviously don't care. Its to bad the girl running the place right now keeps telling people they aren't hiring. They have definitely missed out on getting some good help in there.

Store has fallen down so far it's a health hazard to people walking through.Tons of unpacked merchandise stacked to the ceiling & blocking many aisles.If you are handicapped i truly is a hazard.

Today when my family and I went to the store you couldnt even walk through so many pallets and boxes and carts that were just sitting there no employees were taking care of them and employees were not even wearing a mask if I have to wear a mask so do they.

The staff works hard but they definitely need more help. A lot of stocking goes undone due to lack of staff.

I go to this Dollar General a lot.Its convenient.But since November 2020,I am absolutely disappointed in this store.Everytime I go it’s worse than it was beforehand.I realize short-staff might be the issue,so I overlook the mess.But today was over the top.No Shelves are stocked.No staples,no toilet paper,everything still loaded up on carts.Please put this store back together!

I give 2 stars for convenience. The store is a disaster. Stuff everywhere. You Can't even get down isles comfortably. I would of browsed longer if it weren't for the mess. Also I don't always grab my ID when just running to grab a few things. I am 44. So them refusing to sell me a pack of smokes made it inconvenient but I can buy elsewhere. The mess however is unacceptable.

Shelves are usually bare. Full totes of inventory just lined up down the isles. When it first opened it was great. Too many good staff members have quit.
