We really enjoyed our stay in this historic home. The owners we very responsive and had a coffee set up with all you need. The area is beautiful and the home is as well. It was way better than a hotel room.

This place is adorable. The hosts are very attentive. The only drawback is the road noise from the road is disturbing in the front bedroom. A form of white noise is helpful

We loved staying here! Such a cool place of history! The owners are working to update and restore it currently. Ample space for a family, and not too far from Acadia and surrounding towns.
Experience the private two-story rustic space in the carriage house attached to the historic Captain Bennis House or the charm of The Sullivan on the second floor in the main section of the house. Captain Bennis and his wife Elizabeth, stalwarts of the community, built the house in 1875 overlooking Frenchman Bay on the Schoodic National Scenic Byway. It is near Ellsworth centrally located between both of the Acadia National Park locations.
