“This is a place you have to see to believe! I was always sort of leery of it because it looks so out of the ordinary- and out of the ordinary it is!
Nellie's jams and jellies is as sweet and wholesome, clean and crisp as any shop could be! Carrying jams and jellies and chutneys, Maine souvenirs, etc. the out of the ordinary part is the fantastic world that borders the jelly shop! What fantastic mind could make such whimsical and sometimes dark sculptures and architecture strewn throughout the woods? It must be experienced!”

They were very nice to us, just as they welcomed warmly the casual tourists who had no interest in buying.. I particularly recommend that you visit this gallery at the beginning of your vacation in the area, as looking at Jill's art is excellent preparation for seeing new details in the areas natural landscape.”
