I have hesitated to post a review for this salon. I REALLY wanted to love it. However, I have nothing good to report. A couple of weeks ago I got what I thought would be a simple cut. 8-10 inches cut off the length. I wanted a angle cut down the sides and a bit of texture or layers to help with volume. I dont have the amount of hair that I used to but by no means is it too thin to layer. I was told , "no to texture or layers". I still gave a $20 tip to the owner. I called a few days later and said I really wanted to revisit the angle. I didn't actually get any style. I only got the 8 inch trim which I didn't really want. Again, I was told "no" this time it was because she, the owner, didn't have any time.
Oh wait there's more.....
I canceled the color appointment I had made but did schedule a spray tan. 2 weeks later I showed up for my appointment only to hear for the first time that I'd be getting a "spray done by hand" I was told I'd need to undress and she would be right back. This surprised me to say the least. Im leaving for a trip in 3 days so I did it although not comfortable. I also was concerned that it wouldn't be as even as when done by machine/booth. That was dismissed. It's been over 8 hours now and there are areas on my body that have a layer of BLACK dust like film. Not absorbed. Under my arms are black, not tan. Thankfully my face and front of legs look okay. Certainly, I'm not thin all over but I do have very thin legs. The sides of my thighs and hips do not look spayed. Lastly, I asked if someone could just do a quick toe nail polish, not a pedi. I was told "No".
Overall nothing went right at this place. Don't waste your time. Disappointed.

I frequently visit this place and have experienced the services of a few different hairstylists. They were all very kind, friendly and professional. On every occasion, the end result was to my satisfaction, and I am overall pleased with the service.

I loved my recent experience at Tangles. My haircut turned out to good. The new clarifier that was recommended works so well for my hair and the haircut was so affordable. I highly recommend them.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Worst hair service I have ever had..scheduled for a cut for layers and possibly some highlights..Tiffany misted my hair down and immediately started applying highlights..as I had stated to her I would like copper highlights..I sat there for 2 hours..I asked her why the highlights were so light and she states "omg I just immediately thought blonde"..so she said to see what I thought overnight and if I wanted the copper then to give her a call..I did..I'm a redhead..I would never want blonde..I then asked what about my layers and she states she did them..she trimmed a couple pieces off the end of my hair..a month later and I absolutely hate my hair..initially I wanted it done for my sons graduation..this is literally the WORST haircut ever..I've paid good money to have my hair done and paid her over $100 then a 30 tip..now I have to seek out an actual professional in which can ACTUALLY do layers on long hair-why is this so difficult to have done

Great hair salon with ample room and prompt, friendly staff. Good environment with relaxed atmosphere. Prices were competitive and they do take all forms of payment.As for the haircuts, we were able to get exactly what we had asked for which is always nice. The haircuts were done in a transparent and interactive way where they asked along the way if it seemed it was going in the right direction. The hair stylists had a good personality and were able to carry on a conversation.Overall - will return.
