Stop there on a trip to see family. Bought 2 fire cracker sausages one was so disgusting that I had to spit it out before I left the parking lot. I guess I should have checked the packaging before I ate it all the juice was gone and it was dry and funky tasting.

Small gas station and variety snack shop with a bathroom out on Rt 25 in Standish, ME...on a bladder-stretching section of road where these things are rare?. Nice associate at the counter that had compassion for the strained look on my face.

Tabor's was the quintessential beach store. Italians, pizzas, cold beer and drinks, snacks, and the like. When it was purchased by the new owners they quickly changed everything. The food is often badly cooked, or simply just doesn't taste good, they're out of their element food wise.The worst part is that they changed the layout completely. When you walk in now you're greeted by racks and racks of liquor, and a huge glass case that has glass pipes and bongs in it.It's such a shame.

Raul and his wife are very pleasant people if you give them a chance. I've always had a great experience everytime I've gone in. Good food and service. I've never been disappointed. A little hard to understand them, small language barrier. But given the chance are good people.
