I've been a long time customer of Standish Hardware. The people are great. I do take issue with thier cavalier attitude regarding covid 19 and wearing a mask. No one wears a mask (except for ONE time I saw a woman employee wearing one) at Standish Hardware The mask is to protect their customers (not them). I see older folks with masks going in there all the time and I cringe.... I'm 66 and I am concerned. As such I can no longer do business with them and I'm upset. It's about time we spread the word to our friends and neighbors...

I have been happy to get what I need here instead of driving in to Windham; prices are only a few cents higher than Lowe's for most products, and the customer service and layout here are excellent. Every employee I have interacted with is pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Bathroom renovations, drywall work, electrical supplies... they have almost everything here. When they don't have a product, they tell you the nearest store you can go to get it.

They have a decent selection, they refill argon, acetylene, propane too. Price's are a little high but the service makes up for it.

Quite an impressive little big hardware store. I travel the state doing installs and am constantly visiting local hardware stores for the last 5 years. I was really impressed with there selection of stuff. They had what I needed a certain size O ring that lowes and homedepot didnt have 1 1/8 diameter by 1/16 lowes and homedepot didnt have them by measurements, but by numbers
