First off, I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review, never mind a negative one. But in comparing my nail experience to my usual place in Windham, I feel obligated.
I went here for the first time on 7/1/24. I asked for a full set and made an appt for 4pm. I was seated at 4:05p which is great considering how busy they were. The nail tech complete my nails at 4:25pm. That’s 20 mins for a whole set of acrylics and a polish. I made a comment at the end of the session that in the moment my nails looked fine, but my cuticles looked horrific as she hadn't touched them. Her solution was to put oil on them and told me to rub it in. After getting home, I really looked at them and every nail is crooked and uneven. After the oil washed off, my cuticles are terrible. For $60 with the tip, it was not worth it. Although it’s local and the closest nail place to me, I won’t be going back. I’m sure any one of the other techs are great, but I’m not gonna chance getting the same person.

Great work on the nails. Fast and good priced. For me though the fastness is not my favorite, I take this time as self care moment, and I do hope to be taken care at the time I arrive (when scheduled in advance), and not feel rushed on the time of service. After a few times I decided to go somewhere else. I live 5 minutes away and would love to come in more often, and I’ll try again.

Rushed job manicure was horrible for 25 dollars 10 mins !
My daughter got shellac and the blue from previous paint job still on her nails !
Will never go to this place again .

It was easy to get an appointment for a pedicure. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't up to par. Lacking attention to details. I could see through the polish. Very clean and modern, however. That matters.

The “manager” did this to my nail while doing a fill. He took clippers to my nail and busted it off and was hurting me and made me bleed. He should have soaked the acrylic off of my nail instead of busting it off and ripping my nail bed until it started to bleed. He would not let me wash the blood off either and put acrylic over it. Later I called back and the “owner” blamed the issue on me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! they do not care about your health or safety.

I had acrylic polish applied. The male technician speaks very little English and he never explained how permanent this polish is nor did I know to ask. He didn’t do a nice job. When I went back to have the fingernail polish removed he used a grinding tool. He ground down so much that my nails were damaged. They were so thin that as they grew out they would break, crack and snap off as soon as they grew beyond the nail bed. I went back after a week and tried to explain my disappointment to the manager. Neither he nor the tech who did the work or another worker seemed to get why I was upset. No apology. He told me to come back in two weeks and he’d do my nails. It took almost four M0NTHS for my nails grew out enough to look and feel normal. This grinding procedure is dangerous. The nail became too thin to protect the nail bed from bacteria. Is this the procedure they always use? I’ll never go back, even to demand a refund.

Took my daughter to get her acrylics put on. In 2 days, two had popped off and within 5 days she had 7 of 10 popped off. She was told she had to be careful but has never had the issue before at other places. The nail tech was rude but did replace the 7 however, did it in 20 minutes and didn't do everything. Customer service is low as is the quality. I would not recommend this place.

Love love Jungle Nails! Let's be real, people don't usually think Standish Maine would have a quality nail salon, but I took a chance one day because I did not feel like driving to Scarborough and that was the best decision ever! They're fast but they actually care about making them look good

I have been going here since 2010 when I moved to Standish. I still go back often even though I have moved to Gorham because they are such nail artists , and I am always pleased with the beautiful result. Nice clean open air atmosphere, and the service is always wonderful and accommodating.

It's been 24 hours exactly since I got my acrylics filled and new shellac put on. My shellac is all peeling off and making a mess everywhere because some of it is still wet underneath the layer thats peeling off? felt like they were rushing, and now it's pretty clear. Very disappointed and won't be back.Service: Acrylic nails
