Beautiful Hotel with access to the Barton & Gray Yachts from its private docks. Great restaurants and pool as well.

We didn't stay here on this trip but thoroughly enjoyed visiting the grounds and plan to visit in the future.
Walkability: Easy walk into Southwest Harbor and restaurants.

There is only one word to describe The Claremont - perfection! It is a world away. The location is beautiful and the ambience is quintessential Maine - simple elegance. Yes, it is pricey but perfection always comes with a price. Our room was cozy and our meals were excellent. Highly recommend!
