Incredible experience! You can hear the ocean from the A Loop area, park rangers were welcoming and helpful, clean bathrooms, beautiful landscape, can’t say enough good things. I will be returning for years to come!

Perfect location, you can hear the ocean from your site (site B03 is large and very secluded from road neighbors), there is plenty of privacy between sites, the fireplaces are nice and the campground is very quiet.

It's a campground. So no rooms. There are 4 separate loops. We were in the C loop for RV's and trailer campers. Quiet time from 10 pm to 6 pm. Really quite. Flush toilets, no showers. It was a great way to camp at Acadia Natioanl park.

Our group booked a group campsite (Group Camping area - past C loop) which was perfect for our large group. This campground is a little farther to the main Arcadia attractions (~30 min drive). Bring cash to buy firewood on the way to the campgrounds - sold by locals along the road. The rangers at the campground's entrance were super helpful.Bathrooms were super clean, and there was a faucet with potable water near our campsites. There are no showers if that's what you want but these were by far some of the cleanest bathrooms we've seen in a campsite near a national park. Our group campsite came with a few picnic tables and firepit grills. There was an apple tree in our site and a very cute porcupine eating the apples in the tree at night.

Big fireplaces. Our site on the outside of B-loop was private. Bathrooms were clean but only provided hand sanitizer instead of hand soap, like most National Park campgrounds. Ranger at the check-in station was very friendly and able to provide good hiking recommendations! Not too crowded on September weeknights after Labor Day. This side of Acadia is beautiful and much less crowded than the other side!

You have to have an Acadia park pass to stay here (website doesn’t include that information). No showers in camp which is annoying since you have to pay to shower down the road at a general store. Our site had the fireplace built facing away from the campsite

Wonderful campground, not too busy and nice and close to the coast. Clean facilities and efficient check in process. Would love a shower and the ability to purchase wood on-site but there’s loads of places nearby to get both.

Beautiful campsite. From Loop B campsites you can hear the ocean at night. The rangers keep the campgrounds immaculate and the bathrooms clean. There are no showers. But a spot for a hot shower a mile from the entrance.

Great campground that is not as crowded as Blackwoods. Close to all the attractions the quiet side has to offer and a quick and beautiful 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor! Great for RVs. Limited cell service.

Standard US Campsite, with access to a few bathroom stalls. The location itself is lovely, a peaceful spot to rest. We ended up arriving late (9PM) and there were other people in our campsite when we arrived. They did not have a reservation. Thankfully, they left after we chatted with them. Consider arriving earlier if you choose this campsite.

Great campground near the iconic Bass Harbor lighthouse. The stars at night were magical and all the rangers we spoke to were super friendly and helpful. A great camp spot!

Quiet campground. It is just a few minutes' walk to get to the sea. We watched Harbor Seals each morning and picked wild blueberries that grew plentifully inside the campground.

Our campground was private, clean, and spacious. Bathrooms were clean but I do wish there were showers. That would really make a difference.

Quiet and beautiful! The group site was huge with 3 fire pits. We only had 2 tents but coukd have had 10 easily! The sites for RVs were small but nice and private. Can't wait to do it again!Nearby activities: Right in Acadia! Couldn't ask fir a better location.Noteworthy details: Excellent camp sites for tents and smaller RVs. There is no electric hook ups, but it wasn't an issue. Super clean public restrooms, on site water!
