Two stars for gratitude for having a market on this side of the island, and for the employees who do what they can to provide service. However, I've lived here for 26 years and this has never been a good market. The prices are outrageous, the produce unpredictable and usually poor, outdated food items, and overcharging happens frequently and for years (this report expresses the voice of many local residents). There is so much that could be done to provide a really nice market, and people would be willing to pay for really nice products and service. But for some unknown reason, it has never been achieved. So, we drive to Ellsworth to to our grocery shopping, and are so very thankful for Beech Hill Farm.

Was on vacation nearby. Grabbed 3 separate single cans of beers among other things. At the end of the day. I was looking at the receipt and got charged for 3 4 packs. Like i went to the bar. Stick to hannaford.

Dump. Dirty not many choices and what there is is outrageously expensive. Captive audience I guess. To top it off one of staff was quite rude and not helpful at all. Pack your own bags while she watches you waiting for payment. ☹
