We arrived in BBHbr afternoon of June 16 on the first leg of our summer cruise to Ottawa... Friday am we intended to start early .. No such luck ... Non starter... Hung out over weekend... Monday diagnosis by another mechanic was starter kaput.. Contact him when stArter delivered Tuesday.....we did.... No show... Wednesday two fellows from southport. Marine working on boat next to us were hailed.. Adam came aboard cheeked our engine room... Doug was called and he called us back ... Adam went back to yard and called us saying he would be over by two ... Thank you Doug and Adam.... Adam is a talented fine fellow on his way to MMA and he got the new starter installed after coaxing the kaput one off with appropriate endearing persuasive expletives! Thanks ever so much... While we enjoyed our seven nights in BBH, we are ready to re-start ourAdventure and wish Adam fair sailing in his J 22Emily and David Hawkins
