We visited this amazing Alpaca farm near Boothbay area and my family and I had a wonderful time meeting the Alpacas and learning Alpaca facts. The owners were amazing people and gave us the tour and showed us how they use the fibers of the Alpcas. We'll definitely come back when we visit Maine again.

We just went on our second trip up to Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and Gift Shop. We all had so much fun. Last time Mike took us on our walk and he was awesome! This time Anne took us, and she was also just great. The Alpacas are all so sweet and friendly. We can’t get enough kisses!! It is wonderful to have this kind of an experience and also see that the Alpacas are so fat and happy!The Gift Shop is wonderful. I always find a gift for a friend, and one for me:)Thank you Anne and Mike for sharing your sweet Alpacas with us!!

I was able to squeeze in a tour before work and it was WONDERFUL. Very informative, laid back, relaxing environment. A great seratonin pick-me-up. I will be back for more!

I was originally scheduled to do a trek in July, one alpaca was having difficulties with her birth, so we had to reschedule.That was made for Sept 25.I was ecstatic! So ecstatic, that I arrived a whole day early on the 24th. Anne was soo understanding, she allowed us to stay and do the trek anyways! I was so embarrassed but yet so greatful. She got, Zara, Daenerys (Danny) and Winterberry ready to go and off we went.I'm an adventurous person. I love a good nature walk, even if its on a trail that only Anne really must be able to find her way through. The landscape was beautiful. The alpacas were amazing. Anne and Mike were just absolute peaches about letting us intrude on their relaxing Saturday evening.Thank you again for such a wonderful and informative time.

My boyfriend and I were on a roadtrip through New England and kept seeing things about Alpaca farms. We drove about an hour out of the way to stop by Cape Newhagen and SO glad we did! Anne and Michael were the sweetest and meeting others from around the country who also were on the tour was a plus. If you are looking for a unique or fun activity to do for any age, we highly recommend!

Visit this place if you want to witness a rude and inflexible owner. We just happened to be driving by saw the sign and stopped. And because we didn't sign up for a tour we were asked to leave. No one was there for the tour. We were told if no one shows up no problem since it is a working farm and she had things to do.

Anne the owner was amazing. The Alpaca trek is done in a group of 4. They are so adorable and friendly. An experience I will never forget. I will definitely will be doing it again.

Decided to visit today with my daughter and mom. It was such a wonderful experience! Mike was super friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home! His wonderful wife makes stunning goods from the alpaca fibers. It’s all around a wonderful place to visit with wonderful care for the animals! The alpacas are adorable too!
