“We really like this place--a classic general store with just what's needed for sale on the shelves, and simple well-prepared food for lunch! The staff was friendly and helpful and the customers varied from tourists like us to workmen on lunch break. Some members of our party had ordered the Turkey sandwich with stuffing and cranberry sauce and the cook came out to tell us it would be a moment because she had to make more stuffing! It wasn't "artisan" but it was delicious. Fresh soft bread and great Turkey.”
“I mainly go here for their steak and other meat. The butchers they have do an excellent job and you can tell by the quality that they take pride in their work. They also are the best around for finding specialty stuff like a5 wagyu steak, they don't always have it but they're the only ones I've ever seen have it in the area. They also do dry-aged steak in the store and they get better every time they do it. If you're looking for good quality meat go here.”
“Very cute roadside farm stand selling apples, pumpkins, mums, cider donuts, cabbage, peppers, zucchini, leafy greens, jams, cider, spreads, and more. With friendly service and the options for picking you can't go wrong.”

“Bravo! Main Street Markets was the one stop shop for our visit to Rockland. Went in looking for local craft beer and a few provisions and left with almost everything we needed. Great assortment of soups to go. Heat and serve meals packaged togo so we could enjoy more time with our family at the cabin. They even came by and catered for our last night so we didn't have to worry about dishes! Main Street Markets covered everyones dietary needs, gluten free, vegetarian, even toddler!! Can't recommend enough, what a great find!”
“Wow! I work at a "box" store just down the road from Rockland, and today, the manager treated us all to South End Pizza. Holy cow! I have been looking for a pizza that tasted like this for years! I'll be in this weekend. Amazing! Tastes like a slice from the best pizzeria in NYC! Yaaay. So happy I found you!”

“First of all I'd like to start with if you are going to write a review, especially a bad review, one might include all of the context. With that being said, yes the store has those signs up. The first sign "You are not special" it's referring to customers placing their items on the register belt and then continuing to shop like other people may not cash out while they are shopping, taking up belt space for customers who are in fact ready to check out. Rockland Foodservice has carts, baskets, and baskets with wheels for their customers to use instead of the register belt. So no you are not special enough to put your stuff here and inconvenience everyone else. As for the other sign " we will give you attention when you give us yours" refers to customers using cellphones while at the register cashing out. And asks customers not to do it. It's rude. I'm sorry are you talking to the person on the phone or are you talking to the cashier cause I bet the cashier doesn't know either. How it is that in 2024 we are upset with stores or any one asking for respect or at the very least a little common courtesy when interacting with other people out in the wild. I say wild because people are wild these days. Rockland foodservice has the best customer service around when they will take all of your groceries out to your car and load your car for you, they are always available to help and try to find whatever you need if they don't carry it. So in short, if you're going to leave a review (I'm looking at you Dennis F) at least have the common decency and courtesy make sure you include all the context.”

She went above and beyond for my wife, and I am most appreciative because money is so tight for us these days. She is the reason my family will keep shopping at Shaw's instead of Hannaford. 5stars for this store, thank you!”
“Let me tell ya, I had about 1500 photos of this shoot I did involving a pool of miracle whip, an ompaloopa, 2 geese and my cousin Martha. They had every single one of those developed and on canvas in 15 min flat. Well that might not be accurate but when you're 10 toes to jesus with your 1st cousin, who's watching the clock ?”
“First let me say that Walmart is a terrible company who is terrible to it's employees, that being said...this Walmart is decent, good staff that don't hover, could use more cashier's but overall the staff is competent and friendly which is a win for me”

“The deli cook "Charlie" I believe his name is...is an awesome AWESOME cook. Makes great pizza, subs and other food there. If you don't see it there's a highly possibility he will get it for you if it's available. Wtg on not burning the pizza!! Food is fresh and doesn't seem to be sitting there all day like the mornings . Oh and Shelby the cashier is so very friendly and NICE!! Some people need to leave there bad attitudes at the door.”
