I called to ask if they provided chisel sharpening services because their name came up in a Google search and the gentleman who answered the phone said "No we do not" and hung up on me. An excellent way to ensure I won't bother them with any other questions in the future.
Edit: Brushing off reports of poor customer service is likely why you're stuck at that 4.0 rating. The people who answer your phone are the public face of your company, frequently determining if a customer will do business with you. They should understand how to be good diplomats for your services.

Closer to a mardens then a hardware store. Staff is also not the most pleasant people.

Pretty decent store, I was pressed for time, so I'll be returning soon. At that time, I really take a good look around and do serious shopping and that will become a detailed, real Maine review.

Called inquiring about an item. In a nutshell, was informed the site pulls up everything from the Manchester NH warehouse, the store doesn't have the item. Gentleman hung up the phone instead of closing the conversation. Truly unimpressed.

THIS STORE IS THE BEST! It has everything you need and more. (Even when you don’t want to buy it) it’s such a lovely store and the workers are great! You always get welcomed and helped by each worker every time you go inside. The store cats are amazing and very cute. Everything is easy to find and even if you can’t find it the employees will help.

Came for Daniel and stayed for Daniel. The cat is awesome and some of the staff are super friendly but the cashier must've been having a rough day because he was super rude.

I rarely go in here because the staff is really unpleasant and the prices are really high. But I needed an item and they were the only store open on a Sunday. Nothing has changed for the better. Prices are still high and staff is still unpleasant.

I went here for the first time today. While debating which item to buy, I was greeted by a cat in a bow tie that immediately wanted to be friends and be pet. I'm allergic, but I pet them (duh) and I have zero regrets. From now on, this is my go-to hardware store. The store cat cheered up my day enough to get me to write a review for god's sake!
