I got my iPhone 12 4 years ago when I got it they didn’t have a charger with it and I thought the iPhone was brand new but it is used and know I have to get a new charging port and new speakers and a new battery because it is get hot and freezing

When I finally spoke with someone, he was helpful, courteous, and handled my equipment drop-off efficiently. Unfortunately, the wait to get to him for this simple task was 50 mins. I wasted about 5 mins waiting before (what I guess is the store manager) asked if I had signed in. After signing in, it was painful to wait while it often took two employees to help one customer, or an employee chatted with another employee's customer. What was originally 5 employees dwindled down to one as they disappeared into the back. It was further frustrating that during a busy time, the manager was focused on placing promotional mats on desks and photographing them for some reason.
Lastly, the status board was not working, so there was no indication of wait time. I won't be engaging with Spectrum again, and certainly not at this location.

Have paid my bill every month and spectrum keeps saying I owe a month. I have provided proof twice but it does no good!!! One more try today at the one by the airport, westbrook spectrum doesn’t handle problems like this! There should be notes on my account saying I proved my payments!!!!?????????

I went into the spectrum store today to drop off equipment for internet service that I had already spent an hour on the phone cancelling. I had my toddlers with me and we waited for over 10 minutes. They became bored, naturally, and didn’t want to wait anymore. I placed my equipment on the counter and said “excuse me, I’m just here to drop off equipment for service I’ve already cancelled, my kids are upset, I can’t wait any longer.” The employee in the photo was extremely rude to me, and said if I didn’t wait for a receipt I would be charged for the equipment. I informed him I could not wait any longer, and I would be taking pictures as proof that I dropped my equipment off. To which he replied in an extremely nasty tone, “Good for you.” I have never been treated with so much respect by someone in customer service. In the past I’ve dropped off old equipment at the spectrum store in Augusta and they had no problem with me dropping it off and leaving. I will never go to the spectrum store in Portland again, and honestly I don’t think I’ll be using spectrum as a service provider in future.

The team at this store somehow manages to be condescending and utterly incompetent simultaneously, which would be impressive if they weren't in the customer service biz. Yeah, they have an electronic “status” board that tells you how many people are in line, but you can already see that. And it doesn't change hour after hour. It takes hours to get them to acknowledge your presence, and that's AFTER “checking in.” Most people walk in, stand in line for 10-20 minutes, and then get asked, “Do you have a reservation?” and, if not, then told to check in at a tiny unmarked kiosk near the front of the store in a super condescending tone. Reservations are apparently triple secret; the phone reps don't mention making a reservation, nor do any of the emails from Spectrum, so the experience at this store fails in many ways. Avoid it at all costs. The worst.

Wouldn't talk to me because I wasn't the account holder. All I needed was to return a piece of equipment. They can do that without any account holder, they just needed to give a receipt with redacted account info. Girl said she couldn't even talk to me without account holder present. Untrue, just wanted to sell a cell phone which is all they care about. Go to Biddeford one - they'll actually help you.

For the love of god, let me give under a one star review for this piece of garbage service. If you are thinking of signing up, DONT!!!! I would rather be slammed in the face with a metal baseball bat for a year, than ever have to have this as a service.
They still suck after years
Now they’re borderline harassing me with spam mail.

Went in to switch over from Verizon to Spectrum Mobile with my wife. We were helped by Derek G. & he was nothing but amazing. He was honest & made the process super easy. He also made us laugh & we walked out with new phones and a cheaper bill! Highly recommend!

The South Portland Spectrum location is fantastic! They offer great deals and their customer service is top-notch. Came in to just pick up a modem and had to wait for almost 2 hours. Wildly understaffed. Enforced monopolies like Spectrum will always have dreadful customer service. Somehow this place managed to be far far worse than i expected.

Spectrum has lied to me multiple times and changed the story on me multiple times; they claim they record phone messages but have no way to retrieve them when their employee lies.
I hate Spectrum and their lying staff from the bottom of my heart and hope to never have to use their terrible service again.
