My experience buying a boat and the service from Mike Samoisette at South Port Marine was bar none one of the best experiences I could have hoped for. Mike (and all at the marina) went above and beyond to help educate me about boat buying/ownership/maintenance etc. Mike and his team pulled off a very tight timeline for delivery of the boat and made sure it was done in the most professional manner. Many thanks to Mike and South Port Marine for a wonderful experience around this big occasion for me.

I only write reviews when it’s 5 stars , I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, however I feel the need to inform others, a very long story short I purchased a brand new boat from SP marine , I will keep it civil and simple , if you have options to purchase a boat they have , look elsewhere!! Maybe I was just unlucky, or maybe I just got them on an off day , I’d love to think that’s possible but afraid it is not , they simply don’t care about customers who spend 100,000$ plus , no communication terrible service dept ,sales team are wrapped up in the next big sale , zero accountability, the days of workmanship do not exist to the place all in all it is what it is and there is nothing I can do about the experience I had with Southport marine in ME and Danvers

Highly recommend South Port Marine. We recently purchased a new boat and Eric couldn’t have been more supportive before and after the sale. As first time boat owners, we had a lot of questions and concerns. Eric went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable getting our new boat on the water.

We always feel so welcome at South Port Marine. It is located in South Portland just over the bridge which is easily cycled or walked via a safe pedestrian lane. The channel coming into the slips is tight and well marked by green buoys and red/orangish pilings. The crew is readily available for docking assistance. The facility is extremely clean and well stocked. There are so many things to do from this amazing location. Mandy and her crew are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Stay with South Port Marine. Great staff, good prices, well stocked dock shop, quick walk to restaurants, cafe's grocery, ATMs, and pharmacy. We docked through Dockwa with a 38' sloop. Coming and going was a breeze, deck hands were always around, channel is clearly marked. Mandy the dock master and her staff were gems. We'll be back.

I stayed here a number of times this past summer. Once planned and another due to weather. It is a busy marina, but they are good at fining space, even for my 24' wide catamaran. They also have a full service marine store and Yanmar parts at reasonable prices. Shower area is clean and they have washers and dryers. Dock prices are reasonable for the area and there are several restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Such a great full service marina and Mandy was amazing at getting us in and making our stay comfortable after an awful experience at FORE Points Marina ( not even marina its a mobile home with docks)
