“Not totally understanding all the hate this place seems to be getting. I get it, it's not the newest and most up to date location, but they have a wide selection of food and beverages (and other amenities) and that's really what counts. They have beer, wine, and liquor as well as a plethora of snacks, and obviously your standard tobacco and lottery . Moreover the staff here has always been super friendly to me. The place is usually poppin; makes sense since they sell everything and they're easy to access.”

“I was a Dead River Oil Company customer for over 10 years. I called for emergency service and 32 hours later no one called me back. I called 6 other companies including Fieldings, within two hours someone was at my home they give me a competitive quote for a new oil burner. Clear communication competent friendly service. Their employees installed everything, clean work and respectful. (On their way out, one employee noticed that they had tracked some snow down the steps of the bulkhead and he shoveled it all off. “I live in Pittsfield, M.A., and am serviced by one of their satellite offices. I needed repairs done on my furnace. A gentleman by the name Ron, I don't know his last name, did the work on my furnace. Just about everything was a pain, including ending up with the wrong part being supplied.Ron did a fantastic job. He handled each part professionally and kept his cool even when I would have been throwing things. It took two trips to complete the repair, with an hour each way each time for him. He talked me through every step so I would know what was happening.VERY impressed.”
