Honest, kind, and knowledgeable employees who waste no time and tell it like it is. This is the best auto shop I've found in the Portland area by far, they've always been time-efficient while working and highly communicative with me throughout the process. Reasonable pricing, detailed work, and always willing to squeeze you in whenever possible, or put in that extra hour to make sure you're back on the road. Appreciate y'all.

Just a few days before I was about to leave for a month-long cross-country road trip, my car wouldn't start! This crew saved my summer by working super hard super last minute. The problem turned out to be a symptom of a larger electrical issue that they couldn't get the parts for before I needed to leave, but they improvised and found a solution that has kept me on the road for 7,500 miles (and counting!). They explained the mechanism clearly and patiently. I feel like I understand my car better now! I will definitely bring my car back for the "official" electrical fix when i get home. They will be my first call with any other maintenance going forward!

Ted and Ocean Street Auto are impeccable in communication, diagnostic, and repairs. Since I met Ted, I no longer go to any other garage. Ted works incredibly hard and is the only mechanic I know who stays open to accommodate customers after 6pm. I have also taken Ted’s advice when purchasing used cars. Overall, experience the service at Ocean Street Auto for yourself-it will not disappoint you.

Greatly appreciate Ted and staff at Ocean Street Auto. We’re from out of state and they helped take care of our car while our son was there for school. Also, fit us in last minute for a quick fix and safety check for the long ride home. Knowledgeable, no-nonsense, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Ted and the crew at Ocean Street Auto are always transparent and fair. They squeezed me in when I had multiple sudden warning lights.
Diagnostic computers in 2 places stated it was an extremely costly part. Ted asked me to leave it there to let them run further diagnostics. They solved the issue for about 5% of what it could have cost me on the low end! Amazing!

It’s always scary trying to find a new mechanic when you move to a new city. Ocean Street was beyond respectful, honest, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be using their services again!
