“I work right next door, so I am there often, we have a HUGE employee shortage in SOPO, so you have to give them a pass, maybe they dont work as fast as other worker pre pandemic, but they are kind, thank you, your kindness helped me that day, they look you in the eye, I am horrible with name, like borderline I need to be admitted..... but I asked for theirs names and all I kept saying all the way back to the office is Heather and KAy, 11/21/22m about 11am, These two really helped me, I dont have alot of money, I am just getting back on my feet, they could have embarrassed me but they did not, I was short a little on $$$, we figure it out, and they did not embarrass me, they treated me with respect. It was a slender your wonman, kind of talll, maybe 25-35. The guy he was brown hair, not fat, not skinny, he seemed to be the newest one there. He was really trying and he handled it like a bosss. “Stopped to fill up my rental car. The bays are small. There was one vehicle in front of me and I could barely pull up enough for the gas hose to reach my gas tank. Other than that, I liked how close it was to the airport for a fill up.”

“EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION: HunterHunter is absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond for me, more than anyone ever has, in answering my questions about Walgreens Cash, online orders, bag fees (charged $0.20 when I did not request or use any bags at all!), product stock, receipts not printing (only getting digital receipts!). And so many other things. He helped me place pickup orders for a product I was trying to buy where there was only 1 in stock at every Walgreens in the area, even though the sales required purchasing at least 4 in one transaction. Hunter gave me such stellar customer service, I never want to shop at a different Walgreens. He was so sweet, friendly, kind, ENDLESSLY PATIENT, and super professional. Please give this man a raise!!! He deserves it for all he puts up with, and he does this always with a smile and a sense of humor. “Good gas prices. Good specials on soda. Open late on christmas eve. Decent selection of beer. Public restrooms were clean. Convenient location near the highway. Would recommend to others.”

“Closed at 2. Sometimes 4. But when they're open they do a good job. Coffee is hot. They have a large section of candies. Sodas used to be .99 cents. It's not their fault though cause gas used to be $2 a gallon. Not their fault because that's more so where we are at as a nation. Everything I'm saying is true. Nice atmosphere. For instance, they used to close at 12 where I come from. They have a vacuum. They also sell gas. Last time I went I pumped air into my tires. 99 cent for a coffee. The last time I went it was a bit crowded but it is what it is that isn't really the establishments fault. They have good deals sometimes. They have scratch tickets but I usually lose so I wouldn't if I were you. Came here in a pinch and they have a large selection of miscellaneous pantry items. They have some ingredients but if you are looking to make something food related you should go to a grocery store because they have, a wider selection. Didn't make me wear a mask. They have cigarettes.”

An exceptional young man working at this station named Tyler I believe, not only helped me with getting air into the one low tire, but checked all the other tires too before I took off. There are not too many places or employees with this level of customer service. Thank you, Shell and Tyler, for changing the narrative.”

“Really good experience today! In the past, I tried using a discount card hoping to get a lower price. It did not work. However, that card stayed on my account along with my main prescription insurance information. I went in to pick up 2 prescriptions today and they were priced very high. Rebecca was amazingly helpful! She realized they had been charged to the discount card and not my insurance plan. She was clearly concerned and eager to get the correct pricing for me. Very pleasant, kind, understanding, professional. She processed the medicines again through my insurance and corrected the problem. All with a smile! This made my day. “This gas station has the best automatic car wash in the greater Portland area. I used to go to Scrub-a-Dub but my car always had more scratches on it after being washed there. Ever since I started washing it here, there have been no additional scratches on it. It also seems to do a better job than the one at Irving (Cash Corner) or the one on Broadway across from the bowling alley, which is super fancy but always leaves parts of the car dirty and applies way too much wax. The simple, unassuming car wash at Big Apple cleans thoroughly, doesn't scratch, and doesn't over-apply wax. What more could you want?”
