“I stopped by this shop with my friend who lives in Maine and got 2 beautiful pieces of art that I hung in my office. They are perfect and I'm so glad I got them. They have these works of art and have dates where they go down in price and you can wait and can't guarantee you will get the painting. If I lived closer I'd be there regularly. It's a great shop with wonderful things.”

“Great place to stop in on First Friday Art Walk. They do it up right with music and wine, cheese, and munchies. Very festive. This shop and gallery has been a fixture on Congress Street for a very long time. Keep up the good work.”

“Touristy gift/souvenir shop that's right on Commercial St. Very well stocked with anything Maine/Portland related that you could want. It definitely saved us some time from running all around town to find things as we could get it all right here and relatively reasonable prices.”

“Places on route 1 are usually a tourist trap. This place has a good mix of everything at decent prices. Overall a lot of fun to look around. Never know what you'll find.”

“Everytime I deal with Joe whether it be to buy, pawn or sell, he’s always fair with his rates and he’s more than understandable when it comes to extensions. I would highly recommend Stinson and Co. not just for financial fairness, but he treats his customers with respect. Thanks Joe!”

“Truly a sanctuary for people with an appreciation for architecture and interior design. Eclectic and huge, run by an extremely knowledgeable and helpful owner and friendly staff. Rare to meet a business owner who is an absolute expert in their field, on site most days and a funny, jovial person!”

“The food is frankly phenomenal - it's themed around delicious Cajun fare, but your traditional bar staples (*cough* try the fries *cough*) are also absurdly good.

The cosy atmosphere is reminiscent of Cheers, there is frequent live music, and the best part is that (outside of live performances) they don't blast the music! You can hear yourself think and have a conversation without yelling, a rarity these days.

Bonus points because all their stools/chairs solidly touch ground with all four legs, so no wobbling all night because you got the dud seat.

Gardens outside for those who are into plants, and an eclectic consignment store right next door for that good wandering.

Haven't tried the breakfast/brunch menu yet, but excited to go back for that.”
