They do not answer their phone…ever. They also got rid of their gas station so you are unable to fill your boat on the Damriscotta River now as East Boothbay no longer has a station either.

I was lucky to spend the Summer of 88 there, filming a movie . Gorgeous coastal locations in every direction. Saw Bob Dylan in Old Orchard Beach baseball park. July 3, 88. Wonderful local folks everywhere. Lobsters every day! Still telling people about it!

I went down to Gamage shipyard to do a welding job on a lobster boat cage and I have to say if you like the coast you want to visit Gamage shipyard, it's gorgeous scenery.

Great marina and boatyard. Our family switched over a few years ago from another local company to take care of our boat and store in the off season. The crew at Gamage has exceeded our expectations, and has been a pleasure to work with. Always accommodating to our needs, as well as having the marina for easy access at the beginning and end of season when getting things ready for either season. We don't have a slip or mooring here but it is in a perfect location for the area, with easy access to the Damariscotta River as well as open ocean, the islands, and Boothbay right around the corner.

Steve Morris and his team at Gamage Shipyard are helpful, friendly professionals who know their business well. They maintain and over-winter my 23' sailboat, which we have brought back from questionable condition when I bought it to excellent condition today. Highly recommended, whether you need long-term storage, maintenance, supplies, or short-term moorings.
