I love this little pet store, what makes it even better is it's a family run store. Kim (my wife) has never grown up when it comes to any kind of animal. At the beginning of covid she was finally able to get her 1st Ball Python, from "Family Pet Connection". She has been in heaven ever since and has gotten 3 more to date from them. I had to put my foot down at 4 when 2 got loose unknowingly. I happened to be the one getting into the shower and found out as a 3.5ft snake came out of the vanity and joined me. I like caged snakes and even more when my clothes are on. She got a cute lil kitten a yr ago from this store, we named it Tiger. While buying feeder mice (they have tons in all sizes and rats if your a snake owner) she met a customer who had puppy's. Yup, we now have a Husky, Pit Bull, Rottweiler mix she named Roscoe. He was 11wks and is now 6-7mo old, he's become the most lovable, stubborn jerk that chews all my stuff. I'm sure she'll bring home a ferret, a bird or a dang turtle next because the store has them and more. This place is always friendly, they got a huge selection of pet toys, food, pets, reptiles, I mean it's seriously stocked from floor to ceiling and if they don't have it you don't need it. Theirs a pet grooming room in the back and I swear to god everytime I go by the French doors it looks like a posh salon lol. There is a ton of parking, we always have 10 spots upfront to park in. I recommend this pet store to anyone, even if you just bring the kids because it's like going to a free zoo or aquarium.

Love this shop! The family is great and they have everything I need for my pups. Also, it's nice to see the Richest Man in Skowhegan here from time to time as well!! ?

They are always kind and courteous. They will answer all your questions to the best of their knowledge. They will recommend doing more research before you purchase some critter that you think you have to get that day. That makes it better for the both of you, making sure it will be the perfect fit to join to your family. We have bought stuff just because we had to have it that day and unfortunately we lost our baby lizard we bought because we didn't listen to what they had to say and us not doing enough research before making the purchase..

One of my new favorite pet shops. A friend recommended them to me and I was really impressed. The animals seem healthy and happy, and I love that they have info posted in the fish section that instructs you on cycling your tanks and advising about proper Ph. The shop cat is so precious too!

Very lovely owner and her family. No issues with store at all, but...I would NEVER recommend their groomer Karen! I dropped off my cat to be groomed. I wanted her buzzed down because she had a couple of awful mats, but I walked in to witness my sweet cat being pinned down while being aggressively combed with an awful metal comb...I mean really pulling her fur out, like torture! I heard my cat and she clearly was uncomfortable and being hurt! I was dumbfounded and interjected very nicely, to say that I just wanted her buzzed, like we discussed, to please not try to comb her out. Karen immediately got a very UNPROFESSIONAL attitude! I said no more, I'm taking her home. She rudely took my cat off the table and put her in my carrier! Why did I even leave her a very undeserved tip?! I will never go there again. This woman was rude, and has no compassion for animals! Do NOT just drop off and walk away, watch your babies! Owner took 50% off, but honestly there should have been no charge at all! My cat did not get groomed and this was supposed to be a lion poo.
