Just had one on the worst steak & cheese sandwiches ever from this place. Didn’t make it right, the meat was over cooked and the sandwich was cold. Wasn’t worth the effort to go pick it up!

My wife's family are locals here. I just came for a family visit. From the outside looks wouldn't think it would be as good as it is. But it was some of the best pizza I've ever had and very friendly staff to boot! Highly recommend.

Just spent 15 on a shrimp basket and it was so small I actually ate the whole thing and I'm not even full- the fries didn't taste at all and roll took up half the basket! I counted 10 pieces of chicken! NOT IMPRESSED! at least the homemade bread was good- but very diassapointed!!!

Prices finally went down but so did the portions. Snack sized burgers. Haddock wrap is 90% lettuce. Bring back the big bull.

Unfortunately my experience at the Middle General Store was disappointing and I won't be going back. I bought a small pizza which was burnt and was told that's the way all the pizzas come out . In addition there was a long strand of hair in the pizza. I called and asked to be refunded for the pizza, they had me bring the pizza back the next day. The store manager wasn't able to refund my money, only remake a pizza. I left frustrated I spent time bringing a pizza back and the only resolution was another burnt pizza. New ownership certainly not creating a loyal customer.

At 38 weeks pregnant it is so refreshing to have someone tell me my bump is beautiful instead of commenting how huge it is. Not only great food but excellent service. Thank you to the wonderful lady behind the counter

Not enough reviews on for this place. What a shame! This is Brooklyn style deli with freshness to boot. Their pizzas, pastries and breakfasts are amazing. Give em a try, especially if your staying on the lake! 5 stars.

Half of the time they pull their masks up from around their chin or ear. The other half of the time they just leave them hanging down while they ring you out.

This is a wonderful store with good food and MOSTLY great people there is one cashier at the register who is never polite never says thank you or thanks or anything even when I religiously say thank you have a great night , she has ZERO customer service skills and definitely makes you not want to return there AT ALL. It is just unfortunate this is the closest store to my home. She is not an asset to the rest of the wonderful women who work there

Food was good but we're not sure we'll go back since we clearly were bothering the young clerk behind the counter. Major attitude and didn't get our order right but we didn't complain since it just wasn't worth having to deal with her attitude again. While we waited we kept hearing her tell other customers how she hadn't had a chance to eat and how busy she was; yet found time to leave the counter to talk with a group of people that apparently were her relatives. Maybe it was just us but her service left a bad taste in our mouths.
