Staff are a bunch of unhappy grumpy women but the food is amazing. Cute little country setting resembles exactly what you would think a country general store looks like. Worth the stop for sure just don’t expect a warm welcome

So I thought I was a fluke but I was proved wrong tonight... 11/10/23.. first I literally called the store 20 times. And it was either busy or the lady said she couldn't hear me on my landline phone.. finally place the order and was told it was gonna be an hour.. no big deal, that's why I called it in early... get there an hour and 20 minutes later and grab a few drinks,go up to pay and the cashier walked off.. then the phone rings and she comes back completely ignored the line of people and then proceeded to chat about everything under the sun but there order... finally able to tell her we needed the 2 pizzas and she comes back with 1.. I mentioned that we have 2 and she snapped back at me rudely.... the other pizza will be another 10 minutes she said... SO WHY GIVE ME HALF MY ORDER.. .....The problems are non stop with this place..

Well stocked country store with a great little restaurant dine in or takeout. Good pizzas and subs which are what we frequently visit for. Longtime fixture in this tiny town serves a wide area.

To preface, the staff is kind and cordial and they stock good products in the store. My main issue is below.We've ordered pizzas here on two separate occasions, out of desperation, months apart.I've never tasted a more monochrome, boring pizza. Because we ordered specialty pizzas the first time and didn't enjoy them, we decided to give it one more try with a cheese pizza and Pepperoni pizza. The sauce tastes like straight tomato paste and the dough was undercooked and very floppy. The price for what we received did not seem at all appropriate.Our family has decided not to order pizza here again.

Despite being run by what seems to be multiple generations of the grumpiest women I’ve ever seen, the pizzas, sandwiches and burgers here are all excellent. Try to avoid lunchtime and right after work, as the parking lot can be pretty mad max. Also the selection of locally raised meats is surprising. Expect: good food. Don’t expect: any smiling.

Visiting family in Maine for Father-In-Laws B-Day. First time visiting FVGS. Pancakes, homefries, veggie and all meat omelets were delicious. Thanks for the great food.

A really cozy local shop in "DOWNTOWN" Searsmont. Reliable and friendly are two words that describe this little shop. Great for a quick hot meal or some supplies. Really has the towns heartbeat in hand.

A little store that has everything you need. From grocery items to delicious food and cold beverages. Stop in and check it out. And make sure you look in the cooler for a slice of Amanda's yummy cakes and pies

Wife and I did a weekend trip to the area a few weeks back, and were looking for a place to get food. Found this jem! We ordered a Big Mac Pizza, as it sounded interesting, and it was great! their pizza dough is fluffy which worked great for it. If I'm ever back in the area I'm definitely making a stop here again.

Good food, but side orders are a little on the skimpy side. A large size is good for one, maybe two people, but if sharing with family, you'll need to order more.

The food is really good from the kitchen. Pizza crust is super fluffy. Small selection of convenience items. Not a lot of drinks but all your staples are here. Pricing isn't bad either.
