Sad, as this use to be my go-to place for tires but no more. For about the last two years every time I go in there it's the same story, "we are short on help this is going to take a while"...today was icing on the cake. Poor guy was alone, I mean alone.. answering phones, talking to customers, and the one guy waiting on his car had to wait through all of that... when I checked in (took 20 mins by the way because of other phone calls), I realized it would be hours before he could get to my car since he had to finish the other guy's first AND take care of phone calls. I know shops are finding it hard to get help these days, but, others are having success and so sadly, that's where I'm going... somewhere else.

Slower and more expensive than it should have been when working with Tire Rack for an associated installer for my tires. I'll know better next time.

Staff was friendly and helpful but they really need to get it together with their computer skills. I made an online appt and spoke with a staff member but when I showed up they only had 1 tire.

So, last customer of the day for a winter tire change. Easy? No. This is the busiest month of the year for any garage that changes tires. Got there at 5pm for an appointment, left at 6:45pm. They closed shop immediately after we left. My car was most definitely not okay. It vibrated, shimmied and shammied all the way home. I was afraid that a tire was coming off! Called them the next day and they couldn't get me back to fix this until a week later. Told them okay, if I find a place to balance my tires, you are paying the bill, right? After speaking with the manager, I now have an appointment for 5, Five days later to balance my tires, which I already paid for by the way. This is wearing on my tires, and may need a front end alignment after so many days. Also, my tire pressure light is on because the air was not put in my winter tires. I was able to get into another Tire Warehouse more quickly to correct everything. I work in the service industry so I know first hand that yes, mistakes happen from human error, however how you handle or take care of the mistake is how you gain or loose a customer for good.

These guys had been great for the last year that I had gone to them, but now they seem to lack responsibility.
I called to order tires that would match the pair I had bought from them a few months ago. Spoke with a technician for about ten minutes , who said they had to order them from out of state which could take a couple weeks. We set the appointment for three weeks in advance just to be safe.
I arrived today and they did not have the tires , nor any record of them being ordered. I offered to pull up the call to verify I had made the order and they said that it wasn't necessary, because they can't even order the tire in question at all anymore. The only substitute they had was several hundred dollars more.
I can't approve of a business that pretends to do their job.

Scam alert: my wife took her care to get her spring tire swap. The guys said they couldn't put her old tires back on the car because there's a 5 year limit. They quoted us $800 minimum for all the bells and whistles. I whittled it down to $600, and then asked to see the manufactured date of the tires they wanted to put on. Those tires had 1 year left on them according to their 5 year rule. I went home, talked to my mechanic and found out the rule is TEN years. Got the same tired for less money. Never going back. Shame on you!

Kind, quick, and helped us out in a pinch.
Our tire pressure light came on and stayed low after trying to refill our back right tire. We live close to the Portland store, however they were overbooked - the Scarborough store made an opening for us and fixed the tire before I could even finish my day at work. I'm so impressed and happy with the individuals there - they tell it like it is and help keep you safely on the road!

Got 4 tires for my husbands truck, the service was very kind. They had to order our tires and they got them a few days later. We did a drop off and it was ready for pick up at noon! Very nice staff!

Slimy business tactics of fore-going information of the total price. Ridiculous 2 tires cost a little over $500, cause they have in small print they charge an hourly rate to mount tires that I took off my car for a drop off. Easiest job they could have taken, slimy tactics, most expensive tires around! Every other shop was significantly cheaper. I can understand the 165 per tire, but charging hourly when the car isnt even there for them to struggle with!? then a sensor went bad, those sensors for oem are 13 a sensor and they charged me 85 for the sensor. O wouldnt have let them touch the car a second time if I knew I was gonna be charged for a faulty sensor. Piss poor communication.And it is insulting that their starting wage for a year is 50 cents less than a position at mcdonalds. Honestly I wish I acted on my intrusive thoughts and knocked gary's teeth down his throat.

I happened to discover a severely worn tire that had been wearing unevenly and represented a real safety concern. Unannounced, I pulled into the Scarborough location desperate for help getting that tire replaced with an extra I had. Even though this was very time-sensitive, I imagined that I’d be offered an appointment days or weeks out. Nope! Garry, the Store Manager, asked me to return the following morning at 8 am and he’d fit me in. He was there by himself and in between answering the phone and chatting a bit with me, Garry did the work and had me back on the road with peace of mind, in a very short time. He was so calm and helpful and made the experience an easy and pleasant one. So many thanks to Garry and Tire Warehouse!
