Called before opening to leave a message asking about memberships and the like and was answered with a very rude "what" from someone sounding like they are in a car on the road somewhere. Was very odd and unprofessional. Shouldnt have answered the phone tbh

I just completed the 6 week weight loss challenge and have nothing but amazing things to say about this program and the Maine Warrior Gym. The challenge pushed me to create healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes, allowing me to feel the best I've felt in years. The MWG staff members are very helpful and supportive, there is always someone there to help you with any questions or concerns! I highly recommend this gym and the 6 week challenge to anyone looking to make healthy changes to improve their overall health and fitness!

After being put on medication that was likely related to my lack of self-care with my body and mind, I was STRESSED. My job was really challenging and I was advocating for everyone but myself. So i started the 6-week challenge at the Maine Warrior Gym. I was given a meal-plan and an accountability coach to help me with my journey. It is an amazing program that rewards you for your progress by further engulfing you into their community. Their classes are amazing and encourage strength, endurance and don't have any machines, just weights and using your own body weight for resistance. While eating the provided meal-plan i had more energy and my body all around was much happier. When I was having a hard time ( as we all do at times) it's as if the community knew and coaches, members and people that had previously done the 6-week challenge supported and lifted me up! I will be a member at this gym for life and I can't thank this place enough for really helping me get back to taking care of myself and finally understanding self-care.

This is a great gym for all fitness levels. Most of the coaches are very engaging and helpful with all of your fitness goals. The new gym is very spacious and allows for unique workouts that are everything but boring. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get back into fitness or just looking for something different. The classes are always different, some a bit CrossFit-y, some circuit style and some group workouts. The members are also very encouraging and friendly. This is a very unintimidating gym once you get going.

Just finished my 6-week challenge! This challenge has helped me not only feel stronger, successful, and more attractive, but also proud of myself for the hard work I put into it! My clothes fit better and I feel healthy, strong, and have developed many healthy habits that I intend to remain committed to. In addition, the support and encouragement from ALL the trainers/coaches and former challengers was so key and so very much appreciated! Thank you MWG!!

They offer a 6 week challenge program that really helps people make positive lifestyle changes by getting into a great fitness routine while eating healthy. There are several studio and ninja classes every week to accommodate busy schedules. The instructors are all very nice and so are the people you get to work out with.

I love knowing that we have a local ninja gym! I love knowing that they offer Studio classes in addition to having that kind of Jump Around climb on everything recreational area. I really appreciate the fact that they have classes just for toddlers to practice climbing, walking, jumping, interacting! So why am I only given at three stars? For one thing it's pricey, which isn't shocking since it is in reality a gym. And I do like that you have several options from dropping in for a single class all the way up to an extensive membership, but the way things are offered, timing-wise, doesn't fit into a lot of everyday schedules I can imagine. My career is stay at home mom and I don't think these classes are easy to get to or at times I could manage. Full disclosure, I do have a 10 visit punch pass which I've only used one visit on so far. Because as I said, it's not easy to fit into my schedule based on the limited times it's offered... Meaning the studio classes I want to attend right now. The other significant drawback is related to those toddler classes I mentioned. They are offered Tuesday mornings and Sunday mornings. Tuesday mornings are divided into two age groups between ages 1 and 4 and they're scheduled back-to-back. They do warn you that during the summer when they host summer camp programs those classes are likely to be cancelled because of how many other people are involved in their programs. I don't mind that. However, the Sunday classes are routinely on the schedule that they offer on their website yet when we arrive at 10 a.m. sharp, there's literally no one there! The gym isn't even open and waiting! I received no email notification no text message notification and there's no sign on the door saying class has been cancelled! I've come to let my kids run around and pay you money for it and you can't bother to have someone there?! Or at the very least a notification about why no one is there? And more than once we have showed up and other people have not. How did these other people know that there is no class?? I have received no notification, so what special magic do they possess that they know this? If the classes were offered more frequently and the kids ninja, toddlers ninja, was much more reliable... I'd be happy to give this an updated 5-star review. But I don't see that happening in the near future.

I rented out the gym for a bachelor party this past week and it was a great experience! We got the whole room and the attention of the instructors/employees for 2 hours for a really reasonable price. The staff showed us the different obstacles and how best to attach them. The room is set up with different aspects of the real Ninja Warrior course (the tic-tac jumps, the ledge, the warped wall, the invisible monkey bars, the pull-up bar jump things--can you tell I don't know the real names of this stuff?). They also have vaults and crash mats so you can just play around. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Our group of 10 had a blast in the space, even if we couldn't really do many of the things, we had fun trying or even just jumping from high spaces. The more athletic/better shape you are the more you'll be able to do, but I highly recommend renting out the space for a party or a group--it's very reasonably priced and you can work the obstacles that match your fitness level! Would definitely visit there or take classes if I lived in the area!
