She worked with me for at least an hour to get me into a suit that fit me perfectly. “Obsessed with this place! I have a bag and multiple wallets. This is my go to gift for friends. I've had my bag for over a year and it's stayed in great shape. Such a unique bag that makes me feel like I always have a piece of Maine with me! They usually have sales around holidays so look for 10-30% off. You can also order online! I almost forgot - I have a pair of their keds sneakers that I get so many compliments on. I love supporting this local business.”

I was looking for a new pair of shoes and preferred to go to a local store since buying online can be hit or miss, and I like to shop local whenever I can. I normally go to a really nice shoe store back home in NH and didn't realize we had an almost identical store right here in Southern Maine! I liked that they had many positive reviews and weren't a corporate chain, so I decided to check them out. I'm glad I did, as I was very impressed. We were immediately greeted by a friendly team member, Max, upon entering the store. In fact, all of the team members seemed very positive, so there were really good vibes overall. We were asked if we needed any help finding anything, and were given space to browse without feeling pressured. Max checked in here and there and was immediately available when I asked for help finding my size. There was a nice selection of shoes, and I ended up finding a pair that I really liked. Max was also very helpful in helping me look into a pair of Birkenstocks that I had my eye on. My size wasn't available in store and could only be custom ordered, and I was able to order a pair directly through Birkenstock! Had I not stopped in and had a chance to see them in person, I might not have ended up buying this other pair. Another benefit to going into a brick and mortar store vs. shopping exclusively online. Thank you, Max, for all of your help and your awesome customer service skills (which seem harder to come by these days)! We'll definitely be back in the future when it's time for another pair!”

She was so helpful as soon as we walked through the doors and made sure that my clogs were made to fit my feet absolutely perfectly. She was chatty and kind, and my clogs arrived exactly when she said they would with an adorable hand written note from her and some Kurier goodies. On top of that, Jasmine created the perfect custom fit clogs for me and I’m so happy with them. Nothing but positive feedback for this shop and its workers! ⭐️ ”

“Shoes are decently priced for name brands. Kohls is similarly priced or tends to be cheaper, so theres competition there. Good sales on shoes. I like to wear scrub pants, but too expensive. Too bad because they have just what Ive been looking for in a comfy work pant. The purses are very nice. Ive purchased a few.”

Marissa was a HUUUGE help I was looking for a pair of taffy pink crocs so I called ahead and at first they said they didn’t have the crocs and 10 minutes later I get a call from Marissa telling me she found the crocs I was so excited and I really appreciate Marissa’s effort to helping me out finding my crocs!!! “They didn't have the size of shoe I needed in store to trade in with the ones I bought from them online. So the associate called all the way to TEXAS to get the size I needed and had them shipped to the store for me to pick up. The Jordan 12's sold out EVERYWHERE quick in grey and white! Definitely greatful he made the calls to find them for me in the size I needed! He went above and beyond. I wish I could remember his name but Thank you thank you thank you!”
“This is my favorite shoe store! They have such nice, high quality shoes, for cheaper than most other stores do, because they are 'Designer Shoe Warehouse'!! That's all they sell are shoes, purses, and accessories. I will usually always find a really good sale price on shoes that I like. I paid $99.99 plus tax for a new pair of Colombia hiking boots. That was a good deal to me, as Colombia makes long-lasting products. And, there are always coupons and deals going on. I enjoy my visits to this store!!”

The inventory is well displayed and organized meticulously, so well that it clearly isn't a child's play area of grab and throw shopping spree type bargain bin purveyor. I like the eclectic artistic graphic design of the product, that is neuveax contemporary angst, yet fresh and stylish. Not necessarily mainstream, and yet not "dirty grunge," kid stuff either. Just a quick glance won't reveal the treasures you might miss judging the book by its cover; it's worth the time to delve in to investigate a more diverse wardrobe selection.”

“We were having a difficult time finding toddler sandals. We went to multiple shops around Portland with no luck. Lamey not only had great brands (Keens, Teva, Crocs etc) but they had toddler sizes and many color & style options. The staff was very helpful when we called. They even set aside pairs for us to try when we arrived. Recommend this location!!”
