Rutters was amazing! When we broke down with the RV they were able to quickly identify the problem and get us back on the road. Robin, who answers the phone, was very kind and helpful. She kept us informed of the progess, suggested things in the area so its not a lost vacation day, and made a stressful situation tolerable.

Great Service! Friendly and Honest! My diesel van broke down while on vacation. I found Rutters via a Google search and dropped it off during closed hours. I left a note and continued on my trip. They contacted me first thing on Monday and continued with great communication throughout the repair. The van was diagnosed and fix and the final price was as quoted. I was thrilled and relieved to have found such a great shop. Thanks again. - Jay

I was on vacation and my car over heated and wouldn’t start. Rutters was the only garage who could see my car the day of. And they let me hang out in the waiting room while they fixed my car so i could go home! Robin is WONDERFUL! She explained what was wrong with my car and how they would fix it! Highly recommend! I really felt like they wanted to help me get home safely!Service: Engine repair

Broke down nearby and gave them a call. Harry came out and towed me within 20 minutes, diagnosed and fixed the car the next day, and charged less than the estimate when the repair went faster than expected. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would happily recommend to anybody nearby, lovely folks.Service: General repairs & maintenance

When moving to a new area, it is critical to get a reliable mechanic that you trust. After a referral from a long time resident, I came to Rutters. It is exactly what I'd hoped for: great service, fair prices, honest mechanics and management. I have referred many to this company because I know they are trustworthy and do a superb job.New to the area, I once went to a dealer for recall work. I was treated like the Queen of Sheba with the carpet rolled out and people fawning all over me. They did the recall work but then informed me I had thousands of dollars of needed repairs. (Reality: I had a few minor issues that cost a few hundred dollars, not thousands!)If you need the glitz and glamor and fawning, Rutters is not the place. The atmosphere is basic yet comfortable. I would much rather go to a place that doesn't spend thousands and thousands on the glitz so they are able to charge me a fair rate.I love this place! So do my friends.

While Travelling we lost a power steering line. They made time to repair our vehicle and then while pulling it out of the shop it blew a brake line. They pulled it back in and made even more time for us. They were very busy and still made time to help us out. Great folks and would use again.Service: General repairs & maintenance
