I usually love the food that I buy from OTV is top notch. I recently ordered Christmas dinner consisting of turkey, sausage stuffimg, gravy, a shrimp platter, and a couple of pot pies (for later). The turkey and stuffing were delicious and the shrimp were succulent. However, the pot pies missed the mark badly. The crust was nice and flaky but the filling was devoid of ANY seasoning. I still have one more pot pie that I'll have to figure out how to add seasoning as I bake it.

On the Vine Market Place is a unique market with a lot going for it! On the main level they have most of the produce you might be looking for (locally sourced and otherwise), local/their own breads and baked goods. They also have in-house kitchen with bakery dessert case (you WILL want to look at this) with a counter with made to order sandwiches, deli salads, etc. I tried the buffalo chicken mac and cheese ready to go container meal and it exceeded my expectations, I'd get it again or try others if I need a quick bite. The cakes they make are definitely more expensive than nearby mega markets, but are very good and in my opinion, better than many speciality bakeries in the area I've tried-there are always cakes ready to go or you can call ahead for a custom order. They also have your typical market seafood and meat areas and grocery aisles with a mix of gourmet and specialty items mixed with decent selection of the basics which is super convenient. Upstairs is beer, wine and cider selection on one side (again smaller/medium sized selection, but they always have plenty I would be happy with!) and a smaller selection of home goods/gift kind of area on the other. Staff has been helpful and friendly. Only negatives: prices are higher on most items and they won't always have the brand/variety of a particular item I am looking for. Large parking lot and easily found right off route 1 in Scarborough.

Oh my goodness!! I love this place! Fresh produce and in store baked desserts, I had to get Not one but Two desserts! lol, oh my. I started out good with only chili and a sweet potato and then it was over as soon as I saw the dessert display. I told the workers to restrict me to once a week lol?

I ordered food for my husbands retirement party. Everything about the experience was top notch. The person in charge of catering was so helpful with steering me away from too much of of anything. She had a great understanding of what was needed. All of the food was delicious and presented beautifully. The cake was a triple layer carrot cake. We loved it! I'm so glad I trusted them with a very special day. It was so much more relaxing to not worry about the food. The price was very reasonable and the cake was far less than others I had reached out to.

Love this hidden gem of a market that offers a great selection of cheeses, wines, beers, baked goods, and other essential Foody items. They have some great sandwiches that you can pick up and take with you. A very good selection of locally produced and sourced items, again ranging from wines to cheeses, and other artisanal goods. Location is two stories, deceptively, large and relatively easy to navigate. Staff is helpful and always willing to make suggestions, and there's never a long wait at check out time.

Always the best quality. This is like no other place you would shop for bakery goods, butcher items, and sea food. I don't care for wine, but they have a gigantic selection.

I expected to find local strawberries on June 21 and I did not. The hot sauce section was also pretty poor. Other than that, it’s a standard small grocery store. Not what I expected, based on the name, location and beautiful building.

I wanted a coconut birthday cake. They didn't have one but the baker told me she could make one. It was the best cake I have had in my 78 years. Will order it next year too. Thank you!

Visited the Marketplace butcher and deli for some fantastic Choice Ribeye. The cut and weight was perfect and they were perfect. Thank you again for a great piece of ribeye and a price to match.
