Went in to the store to buy only chlorine granules. When she rang me up, the cost was $90.00 for 5 lbs and I reluctantly paid. By the time I got to my car I realized what an idiot I was, and my sweet wife went back in and returned them. The cost of the identical "Leisure Time" chlorine granules are $41.99/5 lbs from the manufacturer. I just ordered them through Amazon for $43.99. Look it up.Charging more than double for anything isn't only bad business, it's just showing that you are struggling and want to take advantage of your customers.Bad juju, bub.

The tub itself is great, the service crew that visits monthly for water care is friendly...BUT, I am extremely disappointed by the ineptitude of the accounting office.I've been paying $3k for a maintenance plan, which is payable in monthly installments. The technician is usually here about 10 minutes and the service rate they charge are ridiculous. But I overlook that aspect because I'm grateful to have someone friendly and reliable caring for my tub. However, it seems there's some disorganization in the office because they can't seem to bill on a regular schedule. So bcause my account is set up to automatically charge to my debit card, they're randomly drawing arbitrary amounts from my bank account without warning. The explanations I'm given by email are bogus, no one answers the phone when I call and three days later I'm still waiting for my call back.In summary, the product they sold me is very nice. But I would NOT recommend their monthly water care service plan because, trust me, you don't want to give them free reign with your bank account! When I find another option for maintenance, I will certainly be switching.

We purchased a Hot Springs salt water hot 5 years ago and couldn't be more pleased with the tub and the white glove service that Mainely Tubs offers and definitely provides with a smile. The salt water tub is beyond amazing after a long days work (especially in the cold months) with the sublime hydromassaging jets and no chlorine/bromine smell left on me or my clothes (our prior 15 year old tub used bromine sanitizer). My wife and I sit in the tub and often exclaim "this is beyond amazing, so glad we got this!" I have referred numerous friends who are all as satisfied. The few times there has been an issue with the tub, I simply call Mainely Tubs who quickly send a technician to resolve it & as it's within the 5 year warranty period, there's no charge or hassles. Couldn't recommend more highly!

I ordered and paid for a replacement hot tub cover in April of 2023. As of January 2024 it has not been delivered. They admitted in November to ordering the wrong size (as they tried to deliver) now here we are zero updates. If you are buying a new installation the service is reasonable. But don’t trust it after that they will ignore and mistreat you.

(update): We've been in it just about every evening since it was fully running and it's everything I wanted to it to be. Even when it's been under 20 degrees out, it's fantastic to use, and my neck and back feel better than a professional massage afterword.(original):Excellent service. Wasn't entirely hiccup free, but they were very responsive to any issues. The staff is knowledgeable and very service oriented. It did take a long time from order to delivery. Apparently the tub had been delivered to the store but was waiting for me to call. Once that was cleared up they made a real effort to schedule delivery within a few days. I'm a 90 minute drive from the store, so that's a bigger deal than it sounds. The first challenge I ran into was that it's very cold here this time of year. Water from my outdoor tap is too cold to fill the tub as it would have frozen solid before it was enough to turn on so I used warm water (not hot) from indoors. That caused a sensor problem initially and the tub went into "Protection Mode" -- thankfully when I called someone talked me through resolving this before night came or it could have become a problem. The second challenge was that my electrician didn't get the wiring quite right and it was running on half the power, so it did heat -- but slowly -- and the jets would shut off after a few seconds. They immediately sent someone out to check it the next morning after I reported it, and he resolved the issue in 15 minutes. Now I'm just waiting for the chemicals to be balanced and can start using it.

I was apprehensive about this purchase. My main concern was installation and getting the hot tub operating. The team at Mainely Tubs was fantastic. The crew was professional and very personable. It was actually an enjoyable experience. Rick Emery & Son's Electric worked right along with the crew and Chad and his partner were great. I am 67 years old and really hate reading manuals and learning new technology. That is where Matt came in! He stayed and filled the tub, following that he took us step by step, explaining the operations and maintenance of the Hot Tub. He was outstanding and I was more than impressed that Mainly Tubs offered this service. because of Matt we were using the Hot Tub that evening. I highly recommend this fill service and this company.

2 yrs running with a Caldera Geneva. Extremely happy, The install was extremely complicated and MT was there all the way. Spa running flawlessly. The only issue is that they mark up parts (e.g., filters, chlorine, etc.) by about 20%. Would love to support them but its way cheaper (for the same OEM parts, and especially alternative brands) on Amazon.

Below is what I wrote about a month ago with a two star review. After posting it I was contacted by Mainely Tubs General Manager (I believe that was her title) that same day. She apologized and said that she was unaware of my issue. She contacted the service team manager and the service manager himself came to my house within a few days and was able to troubleshoot, replace some parts and address my issues and my tub now seems to be working great:)Very, very happy with how they addressed the below issues! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks Again,JohnWe bought a spa and a sauna from Mainely Tubs, the sauna worked perfectly and we love it! The team that installed it were great and very helpful. Same crew installed the tub and were fantastic. But the spa is where we have run into the issues. We bought a floor model tub and spent over $20K for the tub and it looks great. But unfortunately, the tub hasn't worked correctly since it was delivered. The first problem was the tub didn't heat or maintain the temperature unless it was manually selected on the control panel over and over. I have to cycle it every time the jets shutoff every 20 minutes or so. That could take hours to get it up to temperature.Mainely tubs sent out a repair technician who was very nice and courteous, but it took several trips to our house to troubleshoot it over several months. He said it was a Bradford tub and very difficult to fix and trouble shoot. He eventual figured out the tub was wired differently because it was a showroom tub and operated on commercial power and not residential???? He changed something and it seemed to fix it but less than a week later the pump started to make a loud continuous grinding noise and mind you this was still in the first year of ownership and under warranty. I told them about the loud grinding noise and sent them a video of the pump that was making the loud noise. They came out again, but it took several months to get someone to replace the pump and when they final came out to replace the pump (I believe this was the second pump) it was outside the 1-year warranty and they said I owe them over $1,100 for the repair. I said the problem was within the first year and never worked. And again, about a week after that repair the grinding noise went away but I am back to the same initial problem of my tub not heating and now the pump runs continuously and doesn't shutoff but doesn't heat up without selecting the jets on the control panel either. So, now I am in a worse situation then when I first called for the repair.I told them it still doesn't work, and I get no response from the service team or the customer care person anymore. I have sent numerous emails but no responses. But I do hear from the billing department calling me and sending me emails telling me I owe them for a repair that never fixed my tub.I told them, begged them to take the tub back and please just give me some store credit for a working tub. I even said please just half of what I paid for it so I could have something that works (never heard a thing back from anyone). I don't know what to do. I liked everyone I dealt with there. They all were very nice and tried to fix my problems but once the warranty expired, they want me to pay for the tub to get fixed. I tell them it has never worked correctly since they delivered it.I'd like to think it isn't buyer beware when you buy a showroom model but that is what I feel like at this point. I don't know what else to do. Just super disappointed in this very expensive purchase.

From beginning to end, everyone at Mainely tubs has been highly knowledgeable and professional. I started with an inflatable tub and went in to preview the inventory knowing that I’d ultimately buy a “real” hot tub. Jordan was extremely helpful, not pushy and answered all of my questions. Fast forward 3 months later and I was ready to move on a hot springs tub. Lisa spent so much time showing me options that met my budget and what I could expect. I chose my hot tub that day. The delivery was seamless and they repositioned the tub as much as I asked, without question, until I was happy with the placement. I was also given a thorough run down on chemical maintenance. Day one after filling my tub, I realized it was not heating. Rob, from the service department went above and beyond to get a technician out in less than 7 hours of my phone call. Bill, the technician called to let me know he was coming by, and gave me a follow up call to tell me his findings and that my tub was heating. Very happy with the service and that I get to soak in my hot tub tonight! Thank you!

I purchased a hot tub that has been operational for not even a full year and is malfunctioning consistently. Mainely Tubs has been out twice and charged me $135 for the service call even thought the hot tub continued to trip and malfunction. Now it is set to 102 degrees and will not heat above 74 degrees. It seems the unit is defective. Mainely Tubs has been very slow to respond and unable to fix the problem. So I paid for new hot tub that does not work after less than a year and no answers from Mainely Tub as to how they are going to fix it. This has been an awful experience and I highly encourage folks to save your money and take your business elsewhere.

Jeremy arrived on time and quickly assessed my issue of a leaky pump. He gave me his expert opinion and suggested I replace the pump. This was welcome news because I purchased it from Mainely Tubs more than 15 years ago. I have followed all advice over the years and that is why my hot tub lives on. Great service and quality product.

We loved our experience with Mainely Tubs, but we used the electrician they recommended and they charged us way more than market value to hook it up. They sent two guys when the job only required one, charging over $500 in labor for 20 minutes of work.I'd recommend Mainely Tubs, just use your own electrician.
