I purchased an Equator washer dryer from their website. They only give 48 hours for returns. It took me 1 week to get unloaded from my truck and hooked up. The dryer doesn’t work and the machine flooded my apartment. I can’t get any service from Lowe’s because I purchased it from their website. Come to find out it’s a cheap brand they are selling. And I can’t get help to get it serviced. I never would have purchased from them! Update: Lowe’s can’t help. And Equator won’t call me back. Lowe’s manager said I should have checked the reviews before I purchased it ?! So I’m stuck with a brand new unit that doesn’t work and no help getting it repaired.

I made an online purchase of the dewalt 2 battery pack deal that came with a choice of 2 free tools. When I went to pick up my order at the store they had one of the tools out of stock so they cancelled the free tool only, and when i asked where my second free tool was they told me its out of stock and they canceled it for me and I'm all set because i didn't pay for it. Couldn’t replace it with another one since the free tool was already cancelled, therefore i wasn't getting the deal and had to cancel the whole order. And I paid online with lowes pay that does hard credit check, so i got a credit check for nothing, and wasted my time!

I was just at Lowes in the garden section and there was a young man named Brian. He also had a badge on that said in training. He was the nicest most helpful worker. He really brightened my day!

I wanted to buy 2 pressure treated 3/4 plywood sheets. The 3/4” sheets were under a stack of 8 other 1/2” sheets. I looked around for help but didn’t find any. When I was moving the sheets, an employee walked by me looking at his store device. Not a word….
The 3/4” sheets have to be over 50 lbs each. As a retired person, some help would have been much appreciated.
I told the cashier about my experience, and he was apologetic, seemed like a good guy who would have helped if he could have. I then asked if he could get somebody to help me load the sheets into my truck. He called on a device for help. I waited outside the door but no one came. Another customer came over, said he had heard what I said to the cashier. I helped me load the sheets. I could not have done that alone.
Lowe’s - I’ve tried to be a pretty loyal customer, but it’s time for me to change over completely to Home Depot.

Checkout is the dumbest thing I’ve ever experienced. I won’t go back to this location until the self checkout situation is resolved. The “Checkout of the future” is stupid and poorly thought out.

(LOWES SCARBOROUGH MAINE) Major winter storm, almost the whole state is out of power. Went and bought a generator. They offered us $50 off to buy the box that had gotten wet. Brought it home, it would not start. Drained the gas out brought it back, they refused to take it back because it had gas put in it! I was told that it is the store policy. I bought another generator and brought it home and it started just fine. Manager that helped load it told us we would have to contact manufacturer and they would give us a ticket if it wouldnt start to bring it BACK to LOWES to send out for repair. You would think that since its not a safety issue that they would have made an exception since the state is out of power and we clearly were not trying to pull one over on them! Its not because of the gas because they TAKE IT BACK after to ship out for repairs?! WHAT KIND OF POLICY IS THIS> Also this is not ALL Lowes just this one apparently. Absolutely no customer service here. Also we ere NOT informed at the time or purchase that you cannot return it if we put gas in it. How would we know it doesnt work without putting gas in it?

This place is a scam. Purchased a thousand dollar generator here today. Got it home put gas in it it does not work. Bring it back. The manager says they cannot take it back since there was gas in it. The gas was removed from the generator before bringing back. How on earth is someone going to know a generator runs without gas? This place must be run by people with no brains. If that is indeed a policy it should be disbanded. A thousand dollars down the drain because this company likes to scam hard working people out of their money for selfish gains.

My go-to home improvement store here and in NY near my cabin. Great hours so no excuse for missing out, unless you are building at midnight! Big selection and generally good quality. Sometimes I go to specialist lumber yards for higher quality wood, depending on the job. Friendly staff, easy returns, always willing to help.
