This review is based solely on the delivery of an appliance that came from their warehouse in Massachusetts which Lowes subcontracts out to a business down there called XTD. XTD is an unprofessional, unpleasant, rude, disrespectful business. They failed to deliver it the 1st time because they didn't want to take the doors off the refrigerator in order to get it inside & they drove off while I was trying to call Lowes to figure out why they couldn't do that. Never got thru to anyone until the next day. Manager said they should absolutely have taken the doors off so now a week later on the rescheduled date, they didn't show up at all!! All day trying to call both Lowes & the delivery business- 6 hours - nobody called me back at all. That was 2 days of work I took off for non delivery. No way was I going to reschedule with a scam of a company. I ended up getting a refund & going with a local appliance company who does their own deliveries and service if needed. And the have the same prices!

Walked in to look at faucets. Asked an associate if there was someone in faucets that could help us…he says “I don’t think so” and turns his back on us and walks away! So we ask another associate on our way to leave; he says he’ll call someone. He was nice about it but no one ever came! So we went to Home Depot where we WERE helped and bought one there!

They are liars and rip paying customers off after THEY deliver damaged appliances! They all of a sudden, once they get their money, have no record of anything being delivered or damaged

I have shopped at Lowes for years and spent thousands. I moved to Scarborough two years ago and almost every time I go to this store, there's something I need that they don't have. It's not that they don't sell it, it's that they are out of stock. While they say Supply Chain Issues, why is it that the Portland store has what I need in stock? I can only attribute it to incompetence which roles uphill. Considering it been going for at least two years, somebody need to take a look at management. My future plan is now Amazon first, Home Depot second, then Lowes Portland.

I don't know his name but the guy I talked to in appliances was a total j*** I will NEVER BUY FROM THERE LOCATION AGAIN .it only takes 1 time to lose a customer .

This store is terrible! Asked 3 different associates for help getting something from the locked tool case. Each said they could not do it and would send help. Waited 40 minutes. No one came. I called Customer Service from the aisle and asked them to please send someone over. She said, "I'll try." Waited 10 more minutes. No one came to help me. I called Maine Hardware from the Lowe's aisle and they said they had the product and would put it aside for me. Spent 5 minutes in Maine Hardware and got the tool I needed for 10% less.

I bought tomato plants from Lowe's this spring, eight of which were Bonnie plants labeled Beefsteak. I grow them every year and love that they are so large. More bang for your buck! Except that these turned out to be NOT Beefsteaks. They are small tomatoes and shaped like Oxhearts, something Bonnie doesn't even grow?! I did contact Bonnie with photos and they had no idea what they were. Another one of the alleged Beefsteak plants never really grew and will produce only about five tomatoes! What a bummer! I contacted Lowe's 800 number and they forwarded my info to my local store and was contacted by a nice lady here in Scarborough. She apologized, refunded my purchase price and sent a $20 gift card, too! She did say that they come labeled so it wasn't something that they would have done at the store.It's a weird thing to happen, but this IS 2020, so that's what they are. 2020 tomatoes. In any case I appreciate the way Lowe's handled it! The other tomato plants are correct and producing lots of fruit. Ironically I had purchased the tomato plants from Lowe's instead of Broadway Gardens since did they not have any Beefsteaks this year.

Came here to pick up bird seed had all different kinds really nice bird houses. The staff was helpful been here multiple times I'll definitely come back again.
